T355
I am smoking the best bowl I have ever had. So I though I would share the experience, Set up; MZ Sirius 28'' hookah SS Hemi Clay bowl Laylina blueberry Cool water in base Wind cover I am trying out some new coals too, which I think is what is making the difference, They are Kingsford(yes the kind you grill with) 100% natural hardwood coals. Bought a 10lb bag yesterday for 7 bucks. I was kind of skeptical about these. But I was out of coals and they is nowhere around where I live to buy some. So I thought I would try these out(thinking they would possibly have a smoky taste and smell. These will be the only coals I will use from now on. No taste what so ever, lit quick and they last forever, and they have virtually no smell. Lit them using a electric stove. I packed the bowl with about 15g, but packed it a little different than I normally do. I packed it down pretty tight around the outer edges of the bowl and left a hole in the middle. It has been an hr so far and there is still about 50% coal remaining. Thick clouds from the first draw and still going. Giving me a nice little buzz with no headache at all. Going to take a nap soon now. If you see a bag of these coals you have to buy a bag. Cheapest and best coals I have ever used. And this laylina blueberry is the smoothest smoke I have ever had, wonderfull flavor too. Its been a while since I have had a good session and since this is the best bowl I have ever had I thought I should share. Whats the best session you ever had? Tell what kind of set up you were using as well as what kind of tobacco and coals you used.

Hippo_Master
Layalina has nicotine compared to SB and that other nasty shit. Now, all your sessions will just get better from now on.

But if it works for this guy, more power.

Pretender85
yeah never had a problem with layalina really..last batch was a bit dry, but for the most part its good.. and it's technically not THOSE kingsfords...they make a compressed wood line, which in theory sounds like it'd work alright

nars2k
The kingsford that NOB posted are not healthy to smoke, they are worse than the worst quicklights because of the additives. But he mentioned that he used 100% natural so I might try them, I use Best of the West 100% natural coals and they are great. We use them at the hookah bar I work at and when I smoke. Codename067
As long as they are natural! I also use Best of the West. Nice, natural, and big. Just how I like 'em.

When I grill with those you can smell all the smoky fumes that come off those. I would never use those. I went to the local grocery store trying to find 100% natural wood coals. Not the charcoal briquettes. I will post a picture of the bag here shortly. They look just like any other natural lump coal you buy for hookah. T355
Ok here some pictures. Like I said I have always wondered if any 100% natural coals would work. And seeing that I would have had to wait a week for a online order to come through, I figured what-the-hell. If they didnt work then I was out 7 bucks and at least I would have some charcoal to grill with later. I use to only use citrus wood natural coals, but I recently moved and around where I live these is only one place to buy hookah stuff. And all they sell is quick lites( which I don't like at all) and laylina. Anyways, I will never pay $10 for a 2lb bag of coals again, just because they say they are for hookah on the package. These are better than any other coal I have ever used. They burn nice and hot, stay lit longer than you can imagine, and have NO taste at all, and virtually no smell when lighting. Next time you are at the store, see if they have any of these and pick up a bag. You wont be disapponted.

If you are getting buzzed from Layalina [I personally don't get any], Tangiers will make your head spin. One more thing, try smoking the same Blueberry with actual Hookah coals, and see if you are still getting buzzed. Just make sure it's not the coals [better safe than sorry]. They smell like lighter fluid right out the bag and im sure they taste worse than they smell. I didn't have high hopes for these though. I kept thinking they were going to taste like I was grilling hookah lol. But like I said in previous posts, they are awesome.

There is that sense of accomplishment when you sit down, smoke it, and it smokes exactly how you wanted it to smoke. and OP, that could be it. Very soon Layalina will not be enough to give you a buzz. Try some more Nakhla. Classic, 'I feel like I just got slammed by a bus I never saw coming', tobacco.
