mitch22
Hi Guys, Im new to the forum and was hoping you all could help me. Im heading to Bali this week, and was hoping to take my beloved hookah with me. Does anyone know if there are any restrictions on taking both the hookah and the shisha to bali? Also, does anyone know of places there I would be able to source shisha? or perhaps a shisha lounge? Thanks guys!

Bali is predominately Islamic and Hindu, so hookah isn't new to them. You may or may not find smoke shops. There was one last time I was in Ubud, but the selection was very limited and was primarily cigarettes and cigars. Small businesses tend to be in existence one year and gone the next with the exception of hotels. I would email the hotel you plan to stay at and see what's available near you. The Balinese are very helpful. Being pleasant and helpful is everything in their culture. 'Rani
Rani
Missed the edit cutoff...... By the way, make sure any tobacco you take with you is new, unopened and labeled. The penalty for getting caught with NHT can be death. They do not play about that and Indonesian law applies. 'Rani
