Giant Ninja Robot
http://www.hookahstore.com/hookahs-khalil-maamoon-khalil-maamoon-black-quad-pearl-hose-letters-hookah-p-124.html wow, that thing looks beastly. Did I miss the initial freak out thread? It's a freaking quad pear. I don't know that I'd want to own one so much as am in awe of the thing. Geeeeeez. Giant Ninja Robot
We thought that about the MZ Nef D as well but then Snoopy (rest his soul) bought one and reviewed it as a great pipe. What would stop me from getting one is the acrylic bulb at the bottom. It would likely make stem insertion (haha ) and removal a pain. Seriously though. Impressive. thehelios
48 inches BEFORE adding a bowl on top, jeez. Didn't know you could have too much pear but I guess the apex of pearness has been surpassed in a bad way. Yeah, this thing looks way to unstable. Stuie
Not sure if I could even wash that in the tub.
Click
Hmm that adds a new dimension to my theory on pears. I always have said either one or three pears as u can't half ass it and get 2. NOW everything is just screwed!
Stuie
Still think the stem is too tall. Vibrations from smoking will be outrageous at that height.
Giant Ninja Robot
that's a totally legit argument Stuie, my tallest pipes are about 37-38 inches and they have issues with coal vibration. Can't imagine what another foot would bring.
Click
Now talk about stability issues, over 5 feet tall... look at the freakin jar.
NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
i hate those tall hookahs cause everytime you need to ash or rotate you gotta stand up..when i smoke i get lazy i try not to move if i dont have too..
rj_skillz
flol at that hookah!
KyleTheJustin
I have a 46 inch Kalil and I have very little problems with vibration issues and we use full on cubes in the base! Only downside is the cleaning issue. It can be a huge pain at time, but it's a great, great smoke.
jeremyk
man that thing is super tall id be scared of it not being stable with that tall of a stem
ryno
Click I'd think that hookah might be pretty stable with that much water in the base.
Actually that would be more stable. see where the hookah stem connects to the base. The center of gravity has been raised almost to that point. If the downstem was longer and went deeper into base it would be a pretty stable hookah. Hunkies!
Ive got a 42 inch and a 49 inch Egyptian hookah and it seems like after every couple draws i have to place the coals back into place cause they will either vibrate over the phunnel or completely off the bowl into the tray. but that quad pear km is pretty awesome, just overkill. Codename067
I've seen those in person, I've also seen Tri-metal with 4 ports just recently. Not a fan, but they do look super beastly.
