Loumeer
Yeah, so I got my QT and I was happy, found some japanese coals from a friend so that was all good. Now here is my issue, I store all my tobacco in little ziploc containers which are all in a big box.I have Tangiers tobacco by the way.I accidently forgot my box in the car for a day and when I try to smoke the Tangiers in my QT it tastes very harsh, no matter what I do. I am thinking a few things could have happened.1) Humidity Shock2) Tangiers does not smoke well in a mini3) My tobacco is cooked and is spent. When looking at the tobacoo it is still wet and smells fine, just tastes like absolute crap when I smoke it.My friend brought over some of his tobacco and we smoked it fine so the hookah should be fine.Any thoughts or solutiong to my conundrum?Any help would be appreciated.--Amichai Israeli

Alqoshnia
i didnt see you mentioning this, but did you remember to acclimate your m'assel and did you follow all the tips on the paper that came with the m'assel? hope that helps
kilgore trout
I don't have any experience with Tangiers tobacco, but it seems that there have been several threads in the past dealing with how to properly smoke Tangiers. Try running a search and see if you can dig up anything useful.
Loumeer
I guess I didnt make myself clear enough in the first post.I am not new to Tangiers tobacco and have been smoking these free samples from Tangiers for probably 2 months now.Out of the blue, the tobacco no longer works. I did try to acclimate it and that didnt work. I think leaving it in the car during the heat of the day really screwed with the tobacco. I am hoping that Tangiers sees this so maybe he could shed some light on the matter.--Amichai Israeli
c4r80n
I'll send ya some new stuff of tangiers if you have any af or starbuzz
Loumeer
Hmm, I dont have any AF or Starbuzz and all my tobacco is fried. Just trying to ressurect what I got right now until my shipment of tobacco comes in.However, thank you for the generous offer.--Amichai Israeli
zzzzzT
Weird... My only guess would be mix the tobacco real good and pack the bowl tighter. I always pack Tangiers really well. Maybe the heat did do something funny, but I cant figure out why it would.
smokinshisha4life
Heat can make it taste harsh as times, ive had the same thing happen to cigars. It cant be because u have a mini, because I have a qt and I can get tangiers to smoke right out of it, although ive had problems with tangiers getting harsh before because it is very different. EliteHookah.com
Have all the flavors gone bad, or just a few? I know that sometimes I have more difficulty storing "lighter" flavors like cherry or apple for long periods of time.
Loumeer
I am still not sure what the deal is. I find it hard to believe that they all went bad and the only coals I have to use are really sh*tty and my friends unknown brand of japanese coals which I think are also crappy. So, until I get more 3 kings coal which looks like its going to take a while because hookahcompany.com is taking thier sweet ol' time, I won't know for sure what the deal is. Ordered last Friday and still has not shipped .Guess it's time for a break from hookah since I dont think I will have coals until sometime after memorial day.--Amichai Israeli
Loumeer
Oh, and these flavors are all under 2 months old.I have come to the conculsion that it is either:1) the heat in the car has really messed with the chemicals in the tobaccoor2) All of the coals I am using are worthless and are leaving a horrible taste.--Amichai Israeli
EliteHookah.com
That's a long shipping time, you should kick some ass and get some free stuff out of it.

Loumeer
Well I just got off the phone and they said that they had a backorder of one of the flavors of tobacco that I got that looked very interestingTangiers: Black Thorn. They can substitute it with something else and ship it today.Damn. Decisions Decisions.--Amichai Israeli
smokinshisha4life
why dont u tell them to ship the black thorn separately, they did that once for me when some flavors of tangiers were on backorder.
Loumeer
I just switched out Black Thorn for Red Tea. That was the option they gave me. I guess they don't want to ship just 250g of Tobacco alone if the dont have too.Oh well Red Tea should be good.--Amichai Israeli
smokinshisha4life
I wish I had some black thorn to trade, Ive been wanting to try some of the red tea, and F-line.

Loumeer
Well, eveything I have smoked out of it has tasted either harsh or like absolute crap. I will save that opinion until after I get some 3 Kings Coal to try it with.--Amichai Israeli
