Orange Soda + Arbor Mist = Awesomeness

Last night I went to my buddy's cabin to smoke. I wanted to try some alcohol in the vase because i have heard stories about its greatness and wanted to see for myself. I went to wally world and being the cheap ass I am, I bought some Arbor Mist Mixed Berry White Zinfandel. Plus, I like Arbor Mist anyway. I got to my buddy's place and asked what he wanted to smoke and he didn't know, so I got all my shisha out. He smelled my Layalina Orange and goes "ok, this smells good, lets smoke it" and, having smoked it before said "nah, that stuff is way too citrusy and strong, it is only good as a mixer and I'm not in the mood to mix shishas right now" so, I pulled out my Tangiers Lucid Orange Soda. Packed a bowl in my phunnel, rinsed out the vase, and then put my Arbor Mist in. I was sadly disappointed...the entire bottle didn't fill the vase up enough. it was only like 1/4" above the downstem. So, I had to add a little water, not much, but a little.

I put everything together, lit my coals, put my bowl on, put the coals on, put the windcover on, and waited a min to let the bowl heat up a little. Took a smoke and DAMN!!!!!!!!!! IT TASTE AMAZING!!!! Like, Orange Soda is usually a little strong on the citrus side for my taste (still amazing) but the wine tempered down the citrus JUST RIGHT. First I got a little sensation from inhaling the alcohol (what little it had in it), and then on the exhale I could taste the Orange Soda with a hit of the Arbor Mist. It was phenomenal!!!!!!! Like, if my buddy wasn't sitting right next to me, i probably would have jizzed in my pants, thats how fucking good this was.

Unfortunately, after about an hour into the session, the bowl started getting a little hot and coalish, so I took it back off and attempted to take out the toasted shisha and replace it. It was still good after that, but not AS good. So, I still have a little work to do in that department.

Anyway, I suggest you all try this, no wait, I INSIST you all try this (of course, if you are of legal age, that is )


oh, and i didn't feel a buzz off it, but then again, i never do from arbor mist anyway. I was using my 34" KM ice for this, i assume with a smaller hookah you wouldn't have the problem of the vase not being 100% filled.

Lol, a friend of mine put several shots worth of rum in the base water of the hookah we were smoking and it was pretty horrible.
It was like inhaling shots of rum, but without the benefit of any intoxication.
I haven't tried it with wine though, I might give it a shot when I acquire some Tangiers Orange Soda.

Ugh. Don't waste your money on alcohol based stuff. Just get fruit punch in the base and it is pure bliss.

I have tried koolaid, juice, lemonade, and stuff like that in the vase, and it was ok, but wine was 10x better. I think I'm going to see if i can figure out a way to add more alcohol to the Arbor Mist without destroying the taste....[/size][/size][/font]
