For some reason i found the mizo to have a burnt taste. But many people love mizo grape, I personally prefer el basha more though. if you didn't like the el basha grape try acclimating it a bit, that removes that fermenty grape smell it has quite often. mattarios2
well you can try to acclimate, MAJORITY of the time that isn't the problem with nakhla. Mizo requires a lil less heat than og. Are you a veteran nak smoker? If you are positive you know what you are doing and have been smoking nak with no problems, then def try acclimation.
This al depends. el basha grape from the box id just like any otrher nakhla from the box. its gonna be fairly dry. i know they make this flavor in jars witch is a bit wetter than the boxed batches, but still not quite up to the level of mizo. mattarios2
all the NEW nakhla from the boxes is actually very gooey. They changed some things in their recipe. If you get a newer box of nak and not old stock from wherever you buy it, I can guarantee the box will be quite gooey, not mizo standards but definitely gooey.
well the jars i have gotten in the past have been dry, so i can't comment on that. but on a 1-10 scale 1 being bone dry and 10 being really wet if mizo is considered a 10 Old og nakhla 2 New og nakhla 6 but even having said that, og nak is a different beast, it is more gooey where as mizo is more wet and sticky. The new nak i have been getting for the past 6 months or so i'd say has been gooey enough to the point where i can squeeze a lil bit of juice out of the aluminium bag, which is something that mizo does and og never did. Speaking of that, with the mizo be sure to squeeze the seran wrap and the aluminum bags as they hold most of the juice.

I opened the box last night and the fragrance flooded my entire apartment. It's definitely "new style" Nakla - longish cut and I really like the flavoring. It's gooey rather than drippy. There are surprising layers of scent. If it smokes even a tenth of how good it smells, I'm going to be ordering a couple kilos before Christmas. And I will be smokiing and reviewing it before going to be tonight! Woo hoo! 'Rani

It's not grape-juice grape. It's more like a gourmet grape with all these lovely overtones. Not floral as someone said here, but more like a Pinot Noir grape is different from a Champagne grape. I have noticed that my cat Kabuki has excellent taste in tobacco. The ones he likes to sniff the clouds of are the absolute best, and he's just spent the last 40 minutes squarely in my lap sniffing every single puff and purring like a machine. It is just so damned good. If the other "new" Nakla is anything like this, then it's going to become one of my favorite brands. 'Rani
