samildanach Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 been dying to try an apple bowl, so i did one last night.. apple bowl with af double apple.. to be honest , it smoked no better/worse than using a normal clay bowl, and no way near as nice as using a phunnell...but ..if i ever go anywhere and i break my clay bowl, i know that i can just use an apple instead.. These days I'm really struggling with smoking any Al Fakher flavour on it's own. I don't really like the taste anymore unless I mixed it with some mint. I think I just smoke it too much. But my mother in law is begging me to smoke it again because it made the house smell wonderful.2 three kings coals, decent smoke time. Smoked for about 45 - hr before the flavor died.
