Af Soft Black

Hey all - Happy New Years!
Just got a 1kg tub of AF soft black, and packed a bowl in my glass funnel as I usually do, and the taste was quite nice, but very little smoke.
I understand from reading about Zhag that there is less smoke, however I wasn't sure for the AF?? It's quite wet.
Do you guys get big clouds? Are you using foil or just putting the coals directly on the tobacco?

never smoked soft black bro but i belive its a shisha not a tombiek. if its super wet you should use foil.

and how thin is it smoking?

Yes it is a shisha, and quite wet, thats why i did use the foil.. but just wanted to check!
The smoke did get a bit thicker with time, but no where near other AF flavours... taste was very light, but I assume thats the nature of the flavour (which is quite nice actually) - just wish I had thicker clouds of smoke..

change up your smoking method. use more holes, more heat, something.

remeber af soft black is differnt from reg AF. first its unwashed, second its a mollases base, not honey. so it could very well require differnt settings to smoke because its not the "standard" af with flavor added.

are you sure its unwashed? i thought John said the nicotine listing was the same as all other AF's....

i know the number doesn't really mean much, but you'd think AF would change it for soft black if it was unwashed...
