Sooo recently (last month),

I have not really been in the smoking mood. I have picked up tons of new flavors, but havent been in the mood whatsoever to smoke them. I have a CH sinus problem. but it has never stopped me from smoking hookah. lately, i have realized that smoking has caused me to develop more phlegm as well as liquid in my lung/asophagus area. I dont know what it is, but i can't believe im saying this. But, i might be done for hookah for good. This is crazy. I have been smoking for 5 years without stopping. But for some reason, i have no desire to smoke anymore. Maybe this is a good thing since im getting surgery for my sinus in a week.


Hopefully this is just a phase. I love hookah too much to quit. Haha. Cheers everyone!

didn't you have a "i'm quitting hookah" thread previously?

seems like a lot of people go through this phase.....for me, it's usually just "i don't feel like smoking....right now"...but, the urge picks up within a few hours...

I've gone through this a few times and I've been smoking since I turned 18, hated the idea of smoking when I was in high school strangely, and I haven't smoked a lot by any means.. When I smoked cigs, which was off and on for like... 4-6 months a pack usually lasted me a week... Was I addicted at any of these points..? Yes, yes I was...

When it comes to hookah for me, it's rarely an urge to smoke...

I think you just want to take a break honestly...

If you genuinely want to quit, I don't see why anyone here would discourage you from it. We all know the health risks we impose upon ourselves.

I've never called it quits on hookah even through my "undesiring" periods. There always comes the time when one doesn't have a desire to smoke a hookah at the moment but the connection one has to the hookah is everlasting.

dont do it man just take a break i did last summer when i went to work at a summer camp but i missed it after a few weeks

If he wants to quit or feels the need to quit, I don't see why he shouldn't...

These threads come and go but what never fails is the people roughly a week or so later reposting an "Im baaaack!" thread. Take a break for as long as you feel is right but I have a feeling the sirens song of Nargile will have you coming back in no time

I understand where your coming from, I have CH bronchitis but Ive been smoking for about 4 years now. Ive thought about quitting also but cant go through with it. Hope you feel better
