sheeshabum
I just heard from Dror, from "Smoking-Hookah".com who is a big distributor of shisha from Jordan. He buys in Jordan brings into Israel and sells here and international. They also have a big supply of beautuful hookahs. Most of his shisha is Al Waha ,Al Ouns, Abed El-Kader, Saet Safa. Smoking -Hookah.com have a few other sister countries in other countries. Dror told me to write and mention discounts for members. I have no knowledge what that may be since just today I wrote him to order for myself, but he said that he will seehowmany people are interested and set up a discount soon. His e -mail address is : Dror<cs@smoking-hookah.com> www/smoking-hookah.com sheeshabum
zzzzzT
Al Ouns, Abed El-Kader and Saet Safa seem to be little talked about brands. Has anyone tried them?
sheeshabum
I remember in the 60's and early 70's no one here in Israel talked about Coca cola or 7-Up, it wasn't allowed to be sold here by the Arab economicban. Its all realative once a "paper tissue " was called a "Kleenex".I can vouch for double apple al ouns my favorite taste, but you MUST like anise to apppreciate it.One apple is a milder variety. the strawberry and mixed fruit are too chemical for my taste. The grape is new for me. They honestly smoke as long as Al Fakher and long of course than Rommman. Abed El-Kader has around 6 great flavors, Saet Safa is not for me, but I want to try their melon. I love melon. I think that Smoking-Hookah com.is the only one who distributes Al Waha Bahareni which is nectar to my senses.
DarthHookah
how long does shipping take? being as it comes from across seas, does the merchandise get there in good condition? it would seem that returns would be a great hassle, especially when it comes to the language barrier. i have a hard enough time talking to middle eastern people who live here, much less across seas on the phone. there is a store nearby here that sells shisha- al fahker, nahkla, and layalina. decent brands in my opinion... are these brands any better? worth the effort of overseas shipment? sheeshabum
Ask for "Dror" which mean "Free as a sparrow". He reads, writes and speaks perfect English. Most of the shipping is done from America to other state inside of America. Most of the shisha is either Egyptian or Jordanian with some Iranian, Bachareini and United Arab Republic. Its all shipped from the Middle East to "us". The finest cut glass water bowls of the world come cblown, cut and boxed and shipped to America from Czecheslovakia. The "Eqyptian" hookahs are made in Egypt or China and shipped. The Syrian hookahs are made in Lebanon, syria, China or Algeria and shipped safely. (by the way, do you know in what country your condoms are manufactured in, or the syringes, or nurses gloves? I would suggest that you write them at : Drorcs@smoking-hookah.com

sheeshabum
Well, the owner only mentioned it to me today, at 2:00 in the afternoon Israel time. I THINK he mentioned 2 cents per ton or so ????
Loumeer
2 cents per ton? That doesn't seem logical unless he is trying to sell wholesale to other companies, but even than who the hell would buy a ton of tobacco.--Amichai Israeli
yashman19
^^ Hopefully he meant a few cents per kilo, and evenso, thats a pretty low discount. Guys just gotta wait for confirmation and see what it really is.

sheeshabum
Yashman is right, the owner only mentioned it to me by e-mail less than 20 hours ago. We'll have to wait a minute or 3 more.
Sariél
Its a buyers market. As the official "Lazy American Cheapskate" Designate, I might check it out once someone confirms a 15% discount. Until then, I am satisfied with my current bookmarked, discounted sites and my local shop.
