seefoodlover
had a friend over the other day, and didn't have a fire going which i use to lite my coco's, so i pulled out the 3Ks, and they were terrible. I went through 6 coals for a 2hr session lol. pretty pathetic. I go through about 1 and half rounds of cocos lol. anybody else have the same problem? Travis
Yes in comparison to naturals, quicklights suck. But its not really a problem, its just how it is. Some people out there really enjoy quicklights, and they are theyre go to coal. I for one use naturals for 99.9%, but i keep a box of ql's around for those unexpected situations. I.e. electricity goes out, and you have no hookahforum to keep you busy, so you wana smoke. Well well well.....who needs qls now?
Pretender85
yeah, I only keep 2 rolls of QLs in the back of the cabinet in case the power goes out..which generally leads to boredom and hookah.

Travis
If you like the convenience of a ql but hate the characteristics of the ql, try Johns. Personally i think they are the best that you can get when it comes to this style. And the fact that they are made of long burning coconut is a plus. Just sayin....dont knock it til ya try it. Travis
HookahJohn.com.....look at his brand of coals you cant miss it. He has a natural and quicklight version and both are great HookahJohn's Ql P.s. its ok to discuss these coals but do not say the brand name because it could be considered NHT. Think about it, you dont rely on them to start you car but theyre always great to have around as backup.

Whenever I see a picture of someone's set up or review video and they are using quicklites, I think "amateur!" LOL! I can't deal with the smell. I am completely spoiled by Coconaras, they are by far the best.

Jeff_T
If you have to use QL I'd go with the CH QL's, best on the market (as far as quicklights go at least).
