ch ql's shouldn't be compared to ccn's, however, you can compare ch nats to ccn's. since we are somewhat on the topic, ccn's are going to run out temporarily pretty soon, all distributors are out, including ccn themselves. they will get more i am sure but if you are really a fan you may want to get them where you can. i will be out within an few days, hc is out, th will be out shortly if they aren't already. their timing is just bad...well, not really for me, ch nats are available. i like ccn's as well as my own, the last 2 nights i have been using 4 coals, 2 ch and 2 ccn just to compare. obviously i am biased so i will not say 1 is better but i will say that i'm glad to be in the same league as ccn, ccn is definitely a great product. now we need to open a thread on the latest batch of ch nats so you guys can decide if there is a difference......
Not quite...
Yeah, quite far above CCN's as a matter of fact.
sine
I use both CH nats and ccns as my main coals, usually preferring the latter simply due to the ash situation, but both are great. I just got 3 boxes of Canaries and I'm trying them for the first time... so far they seem similar to ccns, I really like them, but they have an odd tendency to kinda flake into layers, like slate or something... thatonethere
if you got QL's from me that shipped out in the last week they are the new ones, and they will not flame up like in the video you saw, however, like stated, it's a better product as far as performance, just lighting them up is a bit harder.
Sweet! I still have yet to try them out. Maybe this weekend I'll get around to it.
