l0aded
So I've been smoking from a MYA QT (17inch) with razan/nammor hoses, starbuzz shisha, coconara coals, and a tangiers small phunnel bowl with a foil scali mod for over a year now. Each bowl uses 2 coconara's with a heat cover for about 40 mins, then I add on another coal to finish off around 1:30. This setup has been treating me great but lately I feel like it could be better. I was just wondering does a hookah's performance deteriorate over time? It may just be that I am so used to this hookah but it feels like it doesnt smoke as well as it used to in its earlier days. Also for those who have used a MYA QT and have gone on to better hookahs which hookahs would you recommend? I was thinking about getting a taller hookah but not sure which to buy and if it really makes a difference if its extremely tall or short.

Guest Cheng
With maintenance of your hookah I dont see how a hookah can get worse. The only thing is the hose can get a bit crappy, but you seem to have a good hose so no problems there. I always thought smaller ones ddint put out as much smoke as a bigger hookah. I would invest in a KM. Check out www.hookahjohn.com you can get a discount on your order - I think 10%? The code can be found on the forums
Brandon`
You quoted your first post but as above, It usually doesn't get worse. It certainly can get better tho, Try adding 3 Coconara's instead of 2, Maybe you can get more smoke. Try different brands if you would like and maybe different hole methods. I think that bigger hookahs are the way to go but it's your choice, If you want a bigger hookah, Go with Khalil Mamoon, You can purchase these at www.hookahjohn.com www.hookahcompany.com and www.hookah-shisha.com Good luck finding you a bigger, better hookah. Codename067
You are definitely ready to move on. An upgrade as simple as picking up a KM would do you a lot of justice. You will not be disappointed. Just recently picked up a Tri-Metal..again.
djxtc21
keep it clean, change your hoses regularly, and do not wash your hose unless its washable

srawas89
Totally agree on trying Nakhla. Granted I like starbuzz they have some good flavors but nakhla has more real flavor instead of more candyish flavors. I def. enjoy both of them. If you still like the somewhat candyish flavor try the Mizo line by Nakhla. I love Nakhla for its quality and its price. Although if you are sensitive to nicotine it might kick your butt. l0aded
thanks for the tips guys. i think i'll give Nakhla a try and possibly a KM.. I was thinking about a multi-hose one but I heard that there is no multi-seal in KM hookahs. How are the bigger/multi-hose MYA hookahs?
l0aded
oh and for the life of my i cannot figure out how to edit my posts.. which is why i quoted to changed 17inch to 14inch. also what kind of hole patterns do u guys use for your phunnel bowls? i watched this video recently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmeWza6lC7I and at the end it shows them poking a single hole in the middle then holes on the side and they do not use a scali mod but still gets hella smoke. normally i just poke holes along the sides and use a foil scali mod.
