Hookah Doesen'T Taste Much

Recommended Posts

Hello all! :)

I've bought the al-fakher cherry flavour, and it doesen't taste very much, it has a little taste of cherry but it barely tastes anything. does anyone know how i could solve this so it tastes more cherry?

thanks for answers!

If I remember right AF cherry is not a strong flavour? I think it was more of a mixer to mix with other flavours to add more taste.

I havent smoked cherry for a long long time, I used to mix AF cherry with AF Double Apple so that my friends at lounges could smoke it as some of them got too buzzed from straight Double Apple lol. But I could be wrong.

Tell us more about your set up, for example, what Hookah are you using? What coals? etc...

P.s. Welcome to the forums :)

im going to say its something to do with your set up, i have it in my possession and am smoking it right now. its not the best flavor in terms having the most in your face flavor but its not too mellow. kinda in the middle in terms of taste

It was one of the first flavors I tried and I remember it being weaker than I expected. So if he is new to hookah it could be as a result of one of the newbie mistakes we all made when setting our hookahs up. I know I made a ton of them at least, and it drastically effected the quality of my flavor. AF doesn't have the strongest of flavors but its certainly not weak.

If you want it to taste more fruity you can try putting some juice in your base, Juicy Juice has a cherry flavor I believe.

I'm using a golden river hookah, i think around 32" - 34". I'm also using fast coals which is also by golden river. When i pack my tobacco i pack it very loosely and precise, not too large pieces of tobacco. What could be wrong? :P

Bowl looks exactly like this but in green:

If you want tase - try Nakhla Mizo, you can't go wrong!
I used to smoke Al Fakher before I discovered Nak Mizo, but now going back to Al Fakher I've realised how bad it is!
Much too juicy, poorly cut, and hard to get a decent smoke.

you are using too much heat. That is the most common taste killer. Can you post a picture of your bowl and the coal you usually put on it?

I think too much heat as well.

Try it out with a little less coal, maybe cut it in half and see what happens from there.
