I dont get whats so bad about having celebrities endoring hookah? Do any of you shit bricks when you watch commercials? Shit, think about ProActiv and how many celebs they have no one would buy it with this mentality. Maybe, just maybe, Lil John likes hookah just as much as we do and he just happens to be one of the biggest names around in the last few years. You're getting really cynical for no reason and it's kind of lame. If you don't like it, don't buy it, but how many of you have actually had Tonic? I have, and it's good; not all the flavors would I order again, but some I would and as previously mentioned their flavor Jello Shots is one of the best in the market.

I agree. Lil Jon is not you average rapper (if you can even call him that). His a producer and makes some nice ass beats.

His actually smart, he went Uni and has a degree in something. He also single handedly made a sub genre of hip-hop called Crunk.

Crunk rock I think is his new material? His Crunk beats over rock music, for example, Lil wayne and his new rock stuff.

I for one would love to see Lil Jon in hookahjohns vids going, YEAHHHHHHHh dis sum good shiittttt WATTTTTTT OKKKKKAYYYYyYYYYYYY.

well....there's a reason companies select certain celebrities to endorse their products. it really depends on what clientele the companies want to attract. ProActiv uses clear skinned, beautiful women to endorse their products...why? because most likely, their targeting females who want to look like Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, Tyra Banks or the like. ProActiv isn't going to pine for Seal or DJ Qualls to push their products? I wonder why? I doubt anyone is going to be saying, "Damn, I wish I looked liked Ron Howard"

with Tonic choosing Lil Jon to promote their tobacco, they're targeting a certain type of customer. And some people, would rather keep their hobby out of certain circles...lots of people don't like "bro's", people who partake in NHT, etc etc. What if Cheech and Chong were pushing Starbuzz? Most people may associate hookah with NHT, just because of Cheech and Chong's reputation. I'm sure as endearing Cheech and Chong are (imo, those two are hilarious together), that's not the type of celebrity I'd like being a "face of hookah".

Why dont you get off your high horse and come join the rest of us. Obviously he Lil Jon is not interested in hookah, he is into himself thats why his face is on the vase of his own shitty hookah. Do you actually believe little John has ever packed a bowl of shisha? I am sure no is is actually mad that little john is advertising for tonic although I do believe it gives the wrong message. Ed Hardy and lil john care nothing about the history of our hobby they just want to cash into the next fad. The way thy see it young people like hookah, and young people like lil wayne/ tonic. What high horse? Pointing out that the people badmouthing Lil'John don't know anything about him or the fact that after getting the endorsement that he has actually taken a liking to shisha? I never said his hookah was the best thing ever, but alls I said was that people are up in arms about this for no reason. Who cares about the faces that endorse a product if you like it? Have you ever tried Ed Hardy tobacco? No, I'm sure you havn't. I have it, and it's good. Is it the best? No. Is it worth the price of the product? No. But it's good. Have you tried Tonic? I'm sure you havn't, it's good too. Who cares if Lil'John is being sponsored by them. And why do you care if he's making smart buisness decisions? It doesn't concern me or you, and at this point, getting more people into hookah could be a good thing.

lots of time spent overseas in the mediterranean area too.....I know he hit up some place in Greece
