lucky13
ok, i currently own a 12" pumpkin hookah... i definitely got ripped off on. The thing does its job, but i want something better, and nicer, better smoking and higher quality. I was thinking about buying a 26" Syrian 2 hose chiller from hookah shisha.com my biggest issue is i don't know much about what im buying but i want something good. anyone have any suggestions or ideas? is the Syrian chiller a good hookah or should i just go with a standard Egyptian? all help would be highly appreciated, thanks
LZ22
Mya's are all good, solid hookahs that look really sweet, imo. I own 2 of them and they never let me down. If you are going egyptian, buy a Khalil Mamoom (sp?). Every single post after mine will list any Mya or KM. I'd suggest to skip the no-name brand hookah

Codename067
What kind of a smoker are you? Are you in it for fun or can you see yourself smoking for the next few years? If you want to smoke for sometime, I suggest you get a KM, because once you get a KM..you really can't get something 'better'. You can only get another KM lol. Look into the Tri-Metals, Chiller/Ice Chambers [solid hookahs, have had 4 of them for a good 4 years and still going strong], or perhaps you can check out the Exotica if you can find any around. ' Good Luck.
ukhookah
MYA's for looks and the small ones such as QT or bambino are probs the best small hookahs around imo KM - you wont be dissapointed and the new designs look really nice.
Tom1
Everything said above, but you could look at Magdy Zidan's if you're on a budget.

Mobuchu
What price range are you wanting to stay in? I recently went through the same process, looking for a trimetal. But I was looking for something over 30". Most of the trimetals I saw were of that size or larger. Here's some links to a few of the pages I was looking at: http://www.hookahjohn.com/Khalil-Mamoon_c8.htm http://www.hookah-shisha.com/c-522-khalil-mamoon-hookahs.html http://www.hookahcompany.com/egyptian_hookahs_1_ctg_1.htm

antouwan
chiller pipes are really only aesthetically good. when it comes to the majority of km's it's all about visual preference. MOST (not all) smoke the same. I would definitely say go with a single hose, as well.
lucky13
well thanks all i did eventually place an order from HS for a single hose tri-metal KM got a fair deal. so thank you everyone glad to know you guys are willing to help

delSol_si
gah, i was going to say you should go with KM ice. I own one and its great. I know most people say the ice bucket does no good, and it only aesthetically pleasing, but I disagree, there is a slight difference. How many times in the past 3 months have a put ice in it? zero, only because I live in the dorms and normally go to my buddy's place to smoke, neither of which have access to ice, and I am too cheap to spend a couple bucks on a bag of ice. I will tell you one thing, even if you don't use if for ice, it is kinda handy to put some extra coals in the chamber (unlit) incase you want to be lazy and don't want to have to get up to get more coals. Plus, I kinda figure, if you have the chamber on there, you can use it, or you can skip using it. If it is not there, you CAN'T use it. I am wanting to get rid of some of my hookahs and thin down my collection, I am trading my AF for another KM, and was thinking about getting rid of my ice, but then i figured, its really nice to have around just incase i ever want to use the ice bucket. guess its too late anyway though and i probably shouldn't have typed all this out, but owell, you still still enjoy your tri. LaurenMarie
I'd go with a KM or MZ. Although, out of the two, I'd chose a MZ. Recently, KMs are more interested in quantity of what they produce rather than the quality of what they produce and the result is sloppy soldering, dents, etc. You won't find that with a MZ. Either way, you'll be happy with the quality of smoke in a KM or MZ. Good luck and let us know which one you choose!!
