What Is The Most Money You Have Spent On A Pipe? Or Would Spend On A Pipe?

So I was just wondering what everyone thinks about expensive pipes? Like the Mya Crystals ect. Do you think they are really worth the extra money? Do they smoke better? Are you just paying for the name and prettiness?

What is the most you have spent on a single pipe? Would you do it again? What brand was it? Ect.

The most I have spent on a pipe was about $230. I have always LOVED the crystal myas(the red pyramid vases to be exact) but always had good working pipes so I didnt need another one!

I payed around 130 for my trimetal I got now, and had trouble spending that much knowing how cheap they are in Egypt. I would love one of the crystal mya pipes, but I'd never spend that much on a hookah.

I'd say all the above. I mean apart from a large stem ID and nice clean welds, ect. All you can look forward to in more money, I think, would be materials used and designs. I've got my sights set on a new KM and its running about $180. Its absolutely beautiful.

The most I spent on a pipe is my KM King Tut...I keep modifying it...it is now worth over $250 and I still am not done, I'm getting glass phunnel and glass mouth piece to match the hookah

I expect it to be beautiful and smoke great if it is pricey. I am will to spend over $300 on a hookah

Design, nice glass, smokes well and also durable. Crystal Myas are a bit out of my price range, but i do enjoy my acrylic.

I would love to have a Mya Crystal, but they are really expensive. I spent $145,00 on my KM trimetal medusa. Personally, I don't think I'd spend more than I've already spent on another hookah.

only thing id dump a lot for(more than 100) is an all glass with a good stand on the bottom..just because it would never rust and looks cool

i spent a bill on my KM ice. I don't plan to ever do that again. I've had 36" AF, 34" KM ice, MZ safari, mini mya acrylic, and mya QT. After noticing the $40 MZ and the $100 KM smoke pretty well the same, I won't spend more than $75 on a hookah anymore. I can tell the KM is better built that the MZ (i found a hairline crack in the MZ that i need to solder back up and the inner hose port is poorly done), but the $60 price difference is totally not worth it for the KM, even with the flaws on the MZ, i consider the MZ to be a better purchase than the KM, for the money

actually, if you had asked me a few days ago i would have say "id pay 100 bucks for a naked lady hookah" but i am mad at women right now.

I won't ever spend over $80 for another hookah. Most expensive one I ever had was a KM OG Trimetal. Right now I just have a Mya QT, and honestly it suits me just fine, even though I do want another KM someday (which I just don't ever seeing myself getting the money for).

to be honest, i was pretty unimpressed with the mya QT. i really hate mya hose ports, my hoses don't fit in them worth a shit

I have never spent more than 60 bucks on a hookah. Granted they are not branded and may not be the best quality but they have yet to break down on me.

I can never see my self paying for than $70 on a hookah simply because I know I can get a really nice hookah that is great quality for $40. Granted I would have to travel halfway across the world but I feel like I have enough opportunities to travel to say Egypt or Lebanon to buy a nice, high quality hookah. Another reason is that my friend got the most beautiful KM I have ever seen for like $40 form Saudi Arabia and here in the states it would cost upwards of $175 at least.

I guess I am willing to wait to get that nice hookah but I dont smoke that much anyway.

Keep in mind you got a used one that wasn't in the best of shape. But yeah, not much you can do about the hose ports... My Nammor fits great, though.

To Rivet: You can change out the Petite's port and put on a bigger Mya port. The one that comes on it is way too small.

yeah same here. I have a bambino, a KM ice (have no idea how to say the name something like zakahily) and an old small AF syrian a random egyptian pear that I gave for a wedding present. I spent around 65 on the syrian and that was by far the most i have spent on a pipe and unless its a pharonie i could never see me spending over that again.

I picked up my hookah for about $30 in the Dubai airport and it smokes great. The only time it doesn't smoke well is if I screw something up. Right now I dont see spending $150 -$200 on a KM for a "better smoke". That being said, I would spend well over $300 for a properly functioning hookah that is also beautiful like maybe a custom all glass or a table hookah. It would be a piece of art or furniture as well as a hookah. The first requirement is that it can smoke well. I won't display crap or a hookah that doesn't get used.
