mushrat
For those of you with nearby local cafe's and bars. When do you most often go and have a smoke? Before 5 pm, between 5-8 pm, after 8 pm? Does it make a difference if its a weekday or weekend? To those of you who run hookah places, when do you do most of your business? Thanks! SanguineSolitude
my favorite times to go to hookah bars would have to be around 7(if they have food and im going to eat) or 8:30ish if not. I would be more likely to go on a midweek night, though occasionally weekends work well.
kilgore trout
I usually go around 7-8 on a weekday. I typically avoid going on weekends to avoid the large crowds.

yashman19
The local lounge nearest to me is packed starting from 7-on. I have to admit, if you want to be more social and have a louder time, go during these hours, but if you want to have a more relaxing chill smoke, gotta go before 6. This is especially apparent on the weekends (much busier). But my friends and I would typically go around 9:30 and stay to about 1am.
skiracerj1
during the school year me and friends would go to this local cafe pretty much every night, they were open from 5pm till 4am and i went at all ranges of those hours, and basically if you showed up before 7 you were one of about 3 groups there, if not the only one there, about 8 is when the people started rolling in and by 10 it was standing room only. It usually stayed packed like that till around 12, more like one on friday saturday and sunday though, and even then it was pretty crowded until around 3 and by about 3 30 most people had vacated. Granted this was probably the most popular hookah bar in denver so the volume was large at anytime really, but the reason for this is because no matter how packed it was they always tried to find room for you and still offered excellent service. MY advice would be to have a plan to maybe move tables during peak hours so that you can pack in more people and then dring off times collapse a few tables and open things up, it seemed to work well for these guys. Also they had the shelves all around the couches along the walls that normally people could get up and dance on, but during peak times they could also use them as extra seating, it not only allowed for more people but it actually helped creat a more vibrant party atmosphere where everyone in the cafe could kinda bond and have a good time together. I dunno if this is the kinda place your goin for but they seemed to make plenty of money and kept everyone coming back this way. hope this helps
