Question About The Smoke In My Base

I have a 22in mya dionysius. Small phunnel on top and large nammor hose. Its always smoked great. The other day something weird happened thats never happened. I was getting full clouds, but there wasn't an ounce of smoke left in the base. The whole base was cleared every hit. Usually I can't see through the vase, but this time it was crystal clear. I checked all the seals and everything seemed fine and I still got the same size clouds. It was kind of odd....has this happened to anyone before and why did it do this?

happens to me often....

i think you're inhaling as much smoke as your bowl can produce. or might be inhaling more than your bowl can produce.

when your base fills up with smoke....it means you're pulling smoke off the bowl but not all off it makes it into your lungs...

I've had a few sessions like that, plenty of smoke, but none in the base. I'm not sure what causes but I think Jay has a good idea on it.

Weird... Whenever I use one of my Mini Phunnels, there is always milk in the base until I purge it... If the smokes good, I guess it really doesn't matter.

sounds like you pulling more from your throat instead of your diaphragm. My wife does that a lot.

Check the water level, usually happens with me like that.

weird... can you fully inhale when you do that?
