HookahDuck
Sorry my posts have been so infrequent lately. I've been lurking around a bit, but I havent had much time to post. With high school graduation in a few days and the subsequent finals/college housing apps/last minute scholarship apps/ect, ect, ect I've been more than busy.Unfortunatly, I have to take a hiatus from the hose for a while. I've been working out/training pretty dilligently the last few weeks, and after having a short session of Starbuzz apple last night, I was feeling it this evening. It looks like im going to pick up the gloves again and get back into the boxing ring for a while. Im even considering finding a muay thai trainer(PRIDE/ K-1 type kickboxing) and going that route for a while. I also plan on swimming again next year in college, which is a 4A NCAA school.I've gotten rather into the finer tobacco's lately as it seems cigar smoking doesnt seem to hurt my performance much (though I wish I could say the same about its impact on my income).I'll still drop by and see whats goin on when I can. You guys are the best!
pimpy
I train Muay Thai (& BJJ & MMA). I have no problems with the shisha, as long as I use a mild brand and only do it once or twice a week (Fri, Sat). By the time training comes around on Monday, I'm good to go. I graduated high school 15 years ago, so if I can do it, you should be aiiiiiiiiight. Lukasa
I too have traded in the hookah for cigars, at least for a short while. Cigars are really a summer thing Hookahduck, what is your AIM Sn, lets talk cigars.
thepyrofish
I was into cigars way before hookah, and I don't think I'll give either up. Though I'm too much of a lazy arse to train in any of the stuff talked about here. I had a lovely PSD #4 this afternoon with about 3 years on it... Tony
I don't train like I used to but I still work out hard a few times a week and don't have much problem at all. Try not to inhale the stuff though...Hey, check out this video of me kicking this guy in the neck:http://fileserver.uechi-ryu.com/videos/juko_kai.wmv
DownZero
Well good luck to you HookahDuck. The beginning of college can be a doozy and congrats on the graduating. Is it strage that I've been smoking more frequently and also been working out more frequently? heh. Well it has yet to affect me.

I'm pretty inexpierienced with ISOM's. What I've been loving have been ACID Blondies, i just finished the last one in the 5 pack i bought. They are expensive for tiny little cigars. aronparsons
The hit you felt from Starbuzz was probably due to high nicotine content. However, you saying you've gotten into the finer brands (Starbuzz, Tangiers, etc), you won't be able to avoid that nicotine. I would think smoking on nights where you don't have to train the next day shouldn't affect you much. Life's about compromises, hopefully you can find one that makes you happy (and won't make you give up shisha altogether). :-)
