engineonmute
hey ya'll so i really love tangiers. its practically the only shisha i smoke. so i usually pack a bowl in the small phunnel and im wondering... for anyone that does the same thing, do you ever just not finish the bowl and come back to it the next day, or in a couple days?? i mean i feel like the small phunnel lasts about 3 hours per bowl at least. i was wondering if anyone does the same thing, like load a bowl, smoke it for an hour or so, put the coals out. next day put a few coals on, smoke for an hour or two even, put the coals out. and then even the next day come back to the same bowl...? anyone do this too? im just wondering if im smoking it too long lol. i can't really tell if the shisha has dried out by then. so please share your tangiers experiences. im just curious. thanx! ryno
I do it alot of the times, and its usually fine. Sometimes it does seem to try out and and I get less flavor, but the clouds are always really big.
rhineholt
Never had luck with relighting a bowl. What I do, is I just take the foil off, take off the burnt stuff, then put in new tobacco. Works like new!

Stuie
occassionally but not often. Usually just repack it with new shisha.

I'm almost glad I'm not good friends anymore with the guy I used to smoke hookah with... He hogged all of my stash... Shortly before our friendship ended I had to finally man up and tell him to back off. But back on topic... I do it sometimes. I notice less flavor, but still great clouds. The better solution is to take off the burnt layer and put fresh on top. Smokes like a new bowl. delSol_si does this. It's really the best method on saving shish. I'll probably start doing it more now that I have a small and a mini phunnel instead of just the small.
Arcane
i've tried it a couple times, but it's never worked for me... even if it did, i don't think i'd enjoy it much....seems....gross.

Skoozle
Do you guys break down the hookah and clean everything but the bowl, or just leave it set up and add coals the next day?
PSU Smoker
Personally I clean everything out when im done smoking...at least a quick rinse with water. If I am saving a bowl I wrap it in sranwrap or foil just to keep the moisture in (even tho this is prob not nesc).
r1v3th3ad
I smoke hookah everyday, all day with the exception of when I'm in class or sleeping(and other activities of course)...I only break it down and clean it up once or twice a week...Never that dirty really on each cleaning...I just leave the bowl set up for the next day
Venger
i leave it set up if I am not finished with the bowl. Once it is spent I break down the rig and clean it. Not so much because its really dirty but because I rarely smoke the same flavor back to back. New flavor, new water and a clean hookah. ih303
I am two things:

Cheap
Lazy
This means I will smoke the same bowl at home until a) it has no flavor, '' it makes me sick, or c) ihcake doesn't like it and packs a new bowl. It is interesting to point out that, like good Italian food, some bowls actually taste better the second day. I notice this especially with Noir Tangiers. NK seems to be the worst with this, though. It's already dry enough. Edited February 23, 2010 by ih303

Amn_sinclair
ill do this from time to time, usually after im done smoking the flavor though its not what i want to smoke the next time i smoke so i usually throw out my unfinished bowls before they are done. i do know for a fact that i could get a bit more out of my bowls if im still craving that bowl i usually leave the hookah all put together and save it until i make a new bowl then clean it while im waiting for the coals to light up since it takes so long to light coals lol
