First Tangiers Experience

Recommended Posts

Just smoked Tangiers for the first time tonight while playing some poker. All I have to say is I've been missing out for the past year. I packed a regular Eygptian bowl the way jay told me (tight around the edges and fluff in the middle) and used 3 CH QL halves and got kick ass smoke from the beginning. I used around 30g prop for the bowl and it went through 3 rounds of coals without a problem. When I finished up with that I was probably able to salvage 10g of shisha from the bottom of the bowl and the top shisha wasnt to burnt. The clove flavor was awesome just enough to get the taste buds going and wanting more. Also for the first time in good while I got a nice Buzz from smoking.

While I had the straight clove going in my KM we packed a bowl of Clove/Fusion Mango mix in my buddies hookah with some raspberry sprinkled on top and I must say the mix was quite tasty. I can't wait to try a little AF lemon with mint/clove mix tomorrow night. Im not to sure how well it will smoke since I use 4 CH QL halves on a bowl of AF but ill keep you posted.

Touche Eric...well done

Congrats, man. Glad you like it. Tangiers can often be tricky. Had some pretty good kashmir cherry myself tonight. :Hookah:

Good to know someone had a good first sesh, I winged it one my own without asking anyone how to pack it in an egyptian, and yea....fucked it up haha. But now I have my phunnel and youtube is a great tool to learn stuff.

Anyway congrats on the good sesh man.

Awesome to hear PSU. After having clove for the first time I really enjoyed it and thought it was a great flavor. Not to spicy, not sweet but just right. I'm thinking I need to put some in my next order...

tonight was my first time smoking tangiers as well i went with lucid horchata i dont know if i didn't let it acclimate long enough but it just wasn't very flavorfull... i let it sit out for about two hours and stirred it about every half hour it smelled really good and the taste was very close but just not very strong... i let it sit out another three hours so maybe next time it will be better...?

Thats a great guide to acclimating tangiers by RayVer - Usually 5 hours works perfectly, I've never bought tangiers myself, but friends have told me thats the way to roll.

Hope this works for you!
