Af Golden Bahraini Apple Dyed Red ?

Recommended Posts

So I just opened my golden AF bahraini apple and I guess its now being dyed red...big let down I have'nt had it in awhile maybee about a year and I don't ever rember it being dyed red before...maybee just a light brownish reddish but this stuff is the same neon red as regular AF...Have'nt smoked it yet but it does still smell the same...but it appears to be the same crappy dye they use in regular AF(which I dispise cause it will give me a headach a bit) Guess I'll just have to finish it and then only get AF soft black and stick to nakhla and tangiers Kashmir flavs...Bummer I was looking foward to some good old AF Bahraini..ohh well just voicing my upset over AF dyeing everything neon red...Am I wrong has golden line always been dyed neon red and I just don't recall the golden bahraini apple being neon red?it has been awhile since I had it

I don't know about the Bahraini Apple, but my Golden Grape is a dark reddish brown color, not the bright red of regular AF.

Btw, how does Bahraini Apple compare to regular DA or regular apple? (Also, tried the Nakhla Bahraini?)

hmmm...b.apple was pretty darn red for me. it wasn't AF Mint red....but, kinda like AF Mint + brown dye...so, you get a rich, dark red...but, still pretty red...

if that makes any sense....

I can understand your frustration with red dye, twoapples. Why do a lot of shisha manufacturers have to dye their product red? It doesn't make the shisha smoke better or taste better. I think that's what turned me on to Nak and Tangiers, but then again, I've started to notice that when I handle Nak with my fingers, I end up with redness on my hands, even though the shisha is brown or natural colored. I'm starting to think the "red dye" and fancy containers are another reason to drive the price of that shisha brand up.

Its very red not like I rember AF goden bahraini apple at all....I do have a 50g of AF mint opened up and I have not done a side by side but I just opened the AF mint like 2 days ago and the AF bahraini apple is every bit as neon red......I'll do a side by side to have a better comparison and let ya's know.

Hassouni--AF Bahraini apple is very delicious less anise then the nakhla bahraini and more other spice note's a very silky smooth smoke or it used to be I'll have to smoke it and see how it is I hope this bright red dye has'nt ruined it...I would rate it as one of the top 4 apple flavors.based on flavor

Just did a side by side comparison of the golden bahraini apple with AF mint and it is infact the same neon red color...Packed up a small bowl in my QT and the flavor is close to the same as I rember it ,but slightly different a little sweeter maybee and I don't know I think the red dye makes it smoke a little harsher and have a weird mouth feel..I got the weird light headache feeling I get from regular AF( I blame the red dye ) ....So I smoked it for only bout 15-20 minn then had to quit...I don't rember golden bahraini apple being that neon red color more of a golden brownish light reddish color...it is production date jan.2010 so maybee they just changed it over with the new year.....ohh well..good bye AF bahraini apple gonna put you in the large punnel and make you go away for ever never to be smoked agin

Just opened a box of Golden black grape. It is a deep red almost purple but yeah this stuff could glow in the dark. Nice smoke though.
