So i've had my KM green pear for about 2 weeks now and I can't clear the chamber by blowing out. I think that's called purging, correct me if i'm wrong. When I blow in the only thing that happens is water starts to go up the stem. I've taken the carb apart and played with the little ball bearing in it, and put it back in, but no luck. Any suggestions?

Did it purge before and now it wont or did it never purge?

Flip the stem over and check the holes punched into the bottom of the stem. Make sure there isn't metal slurry overing the purge vavle hole.

I had that problem with a 2 hose hookah once. One of the hoses didnt hit for shit until i flipped it over and saw the hole was partially blocked.

Everyone should check their hookahs for this when they buy it, may explain some folks complaining about the lousy draw on a good hookah.

If this is a two hose hookah with ball bearings in it, then you probably won't be able to purge it by blowing into it. The ball bearings form a seal whenever air isn't being drawn outward from the hose.

Are you positive that blowing into it is moving water up the stem, or does it just feel like that is happening?

Sounds like the purge is blocked. Either the ball is stuck or something else is blocking the purge port. Take a flashlight or something similar and see if you can shine it through the purge pipe.

KM ball bearings tend to stick clean it off with some water and dry with a towel. If it continues to stick get yourself a plastic bb I think .12 size fits, don't quote me on the size though

Just to help out, i have a bb in my hookah cause i lost it down the sink while cleaning it out. But any ways, .12 is the weight of the bb, not the size. you want an 8mm but 6mm work as well.
