The only lounge located in the directory is located in Dresher, PA. Not sure if that helps you, but there ya go... Most lounges will sell hookahs or tobacco. Don't expect the best prices though. Is there a reason why you can't simply order online? Best place to look if you have access to a credit/debit card.

thanks yashman, i did a little more googling after i posted this thread. i did find a store that sells hookahs.

I also found one craigslist that I liked. it was a 3 hoser for $80.

i did look at online hookahs, but id rather get them in person.

thanks for the help.

Now are you talking about SJCigars as in its a local place but with a website? Or are you talking about hookahs on that site? If so, there are a ton more online sites dedicated to hookah, which will give you much better resultsie: socialsmoke.com, hookahcompany.com, myasaray.com, etc etc...But I'm with you. I like to be able to look at my hookah face to face in order to make my decision.

I'm talking about the sjcigars store in philly. i'll check out those websites as well.

the three hose one at sjcigars is like $120. you think its worth that
much? im looking for multiple hose because i'll be smoking with friends.

thanks.

Alphonse, I'm from South Jersey. My experience is that buying a hookah in person is really not worth it. I would suggest going online and buying one for much much cheaper. Stores around Philly (especially IN Philly) have to charge through the nose because its so expensive property wise.
Just my 2 cents.

dont buy multihose unless you want to smoke with more than 5 people at
all times. 3 hose hookahs can easily service 6-8 people and do NOT
really work for 1-2 people. get a single hose. it will look and smoke
better as well as be much more traditional. i would suggest either
buying from socialsmoke or if youre willing to spend more money get a
mya hookah from myasaray.com but give them a call and ask for the
hookahforum discount as well as asking about what they have in stock
since their website is never all that accurate.

I agree with Yoner... I live just outside of Philly, and even if I did ever find a nice hookah in a store, I'd rather just buy online. It's cheaper and you can take the time to make a good choice. And although you can get a better idea of what the piece looks like if you're buying in person, I think it's much easier to know exactly what you're getting when you buy online. At least, in terms of the quality of the hookah and how well it smokes...

I know of SJ and theres a shop not too far from there called Bitar's that sells some shisha and mini 3 kings coals, but i'm looking for somewhere in philly that sells other brands besides nakhla.  I know i can order online but i hate waiting and would so much rather just go to the store and buy it.  Theres also a new restaurant off of south street called Shouk or something close to that.  They have hookahs in there but i havent been yet and was wondering if anyone knew if they sold any shisha

I know theres a nice hookah lounge in philly, don't remeber the name
but it had a great atmosphere, carpeted walls, dim lights, you sit on
couches and ottomans, i tihnk its officially a restaraunt but they have
hookah there too, and i do believe they may sell them cause when i was
there they had a few shelves with all brand new hookahs, if you were to
ask aorund you could probably find the name of the place, i visited it
years ago so i don't remeber the name,s orry i couldnt be of more help
