How Exactly Is This Buzz Thing Supposed To Work?

Recommended Posts

I've been enjoying my Mya QT for a couple months now, and I'm trying to understand the "buzz." After the first couple of good puffs, I usually feel something (depending on what shisha I use. So far I've found Romman to be best for this). I generally feel pretty good for a while after that, but nothing "washes over me" like it does when it first hits, and it never really seems to "hit" after that. Is this how everybody else works?

When your talking about anything but Tangiers, it's normally like that, I'll get a buzz for the first 5-10 minutes and it will fade away. Now with Tangiers....thats a different story, I just started smoking it recently so I'll get a buzz for a good half hour 45 minutes. But even then, it's strong and slowly dies down, it doesn't come in waves.

The nicotine hits your brain in less than 10 seconds on average. As long as you keep smoking you should keep a decent buzz going. If you get anything stronger after that, it might be attributed to being dehydrated. You probably just dont notice anything after the first hit because its already going strong. Haha.

so what happens is you smoke the tobacco, then the charcoal gnome comes and hits you on the head with a sock filled with bars of soap. rinse repeat and BOOM you have a buzz.

well if hitting you with cotton balls pisses you off than thats the case. Otherwise you have just grown a thicker skull so you can feel the hits anymore lol

Id say step 4 is more likely associated with CO poisoning when it comes to hookah. Although the first real cigar I ever smoked (and first run in with nicotine in any significant amount did end up as a step 4 so i guess it would depend on the person and percentage of nicotine Edited by PSU Smoker
