baumann
Which tangiers flavor in your experience has been the easiest to acclimate? I've tried cocoa, orange soda, and horchata, and all were fairly finicky. I live in Oregon, if that makes a dif. Thanks. -b
JOE
try lucid, it worked great for me first try, and I have gone through around 2 kilos of OG with issues
SuburbanSmoker
im from nor cali and i cant get anything but my oj soda to acclimate. lucid is easier to smoke, not as finicky once it is acclimated.
NimbleCow
Do you lucid experts find that there's any downsides to it besides lower nicotine? Flavor/smoke/experience are the same as OG?
Balthazar
I'm from Norway, so the climate is a bit troublesome. For the last couple of years, the only to flavors that constantly "works" here is K-cherry and K-peach. Melon Blend, Blueberry, Cool Strawberry and Watermelon acclimate "OK" but that's not good enough for me to buy them. Other flavors have really been a pain. But just to make this clear: I live in Norway. There's literally (well, not really) polar bears outside my house, smashing up my walls and whatnot. So the fact that these flavors don't work for me probably doesn't say much about how they'll acclimate "over there". And thank god it's the Kashmir-flavors that works, K-peach is like my all time favorite shisha
Barnaby
I haven't had problems with any Tangiers I've gotten to acclimate. How are you doing it? Best way I've found is spreading it out thinly over foil for atleast 8 hours. I give it a stir every hour or so. I have not had an extreme amount of flavors though. I've tried K. Peach, K. Cherry, Schnozzberry, Orange Soda, Kiwi, Tropical Punch, and Summer Solstice. All have turned out great. I'm in VA if that helps.
Stuie
I think the acclimation thing is a bit crazy.... but then again, i think the longest i have acclimated is 3 hours. Acclimation should be done as such (after much experimenting coordinated by Eric): Acclimate in the container it's going to be stored in, spread out as much as possible for 4 hours. Seal it and let it set for 20 hours. If the smell smells completely off and you are sure of it repeat process. Small test bowl should be smoked to confirm (BGB never smells right but it tastes great) If after the 2nd round of acclimation the problem persists put in the freezer for 6 hours and repeat 4/20 acclimation cycle. If still bad after all that... send it to me.
Arcane
i've found most peach flavors acclimate fairly easy....and mint..... as far as lucid vs. noir....noir has a bit of a bite to it, but its not something i miss when i'm smoking lucid... dizzbizz
I can't say I've had any problems with any which flavor. They all kind of gave me a hard time, but I figured out how to acclimate it here in AZ. I've smoked Lime, Schnozzberry, Horchata, Orange Soda, Kiwi, Maraschino Cherry, and I'm gonna try Mint tonight! I'm stoked. A local place sells select flavors for $5 per 250g. I stocked up and gonna get some more tonight.

[/quote] Yeah, its pretty sweet. I'm literally the only one who buys them, I guess not many people in AZ know how to acclimate and pack it. I had to educate them about Eric and everything. I got some and they said I was the last one they sold the Tang to and that was like 5 months ago haha
