dertigo
It worked fine till I added another hose. Even when I take the other hose off I can't purge it. Any ideas?
Stuie
You put on an autoseal valve. You can't purge with those or you took off your purge.
Arcane
if it's on open bell like my QT, it shouldn't purge well... in fact, i'm surprised you said it did in the past...
Chreees
Stuie's right- changing it to two-hose with auto-seal hose adapters will take away your option to purge. If you want to have two hoses and still purge, take the little bearings out of the adapters, and when you want to purge tell your buddy to hold his hose away from him and blow into yours. Oh, and make sure to put a thumb over your hoses when you're not smoking if you take the bearings out...
dertigo
i don't have the auto seal in, i have the regular but it still won't purge.
PSU Smoker
So there are no ball bearing in either hose port?? if thats the case you should be able to blow in one hose port and out the other with no problem. If you cant it might be clogged but this would also mean you wouldn't be able to draw smoke from that hose

[/quote] How many hose ports does it have? If it only had one hose and the purge valve then, yeah, you wont be able to purge with BOTH hoses put in. If its three then screw the purge valve back in the third opening. Make sure none of the hose adapter have the ball bearing.

Chreees
With it setup just like that with one hose are you able to purge? When making it two hose take one of the caps off and put on the hose adapter there, leaving the purge valve.

dertigo
I really have no idea how this can be happening. Does anyone have any ideas?
Chreees
Your purge is obviously blocked somehow... Unscrew it and see if the ball bearing inside rattles around.
