bellydancerakn Posted March 31, 2010 Share Posted March 31, 2010 (edited) Ok so if you read some of my other threads you'll know I have now been waiting nearly a month for my new hookah cause the warehouse they order it from keeps screwing it up. Anyways it hasn't come in but something better has, the store is willing to give it to me for free because of all the bullshit I've gone through. So the way the lady described it on the phone was; It's similar to a QT, but a little bigger and it's a 2 hose and it's purple. It also comes with its own carrying case. If I like it I will get it at no extra cost. So basically it's a free upgrade. And even if I don't like it they will order me my old one. I won't be able to pick it up untill friday, but I am dying of curiosity. So I wanted to ask the experts what hookah is similar to the QT but bigger and a 2 hose? I've already looked on the mya saray website and can't find anything really. [i][b]EDIT:[/b][/i] She also said there was some glass etching on the bottom (which I take to mean base) if that helps. I would say just pass on it since it's just a chinese made knockoff that is probably junk, but if it's free I don't see why you shouldn't take it. I hope I'm wrong...But the only purple hookah that I know of is not very good quality. I honestly would just ask for my money back instead of taking the hookah. Then you can order a legit QT from an online vendor. Hell, with the $60 refund you'd even have enough left for a box of sheesh or something, especially if you got the Mya Petite instead, which will smoke just like the QT. As I've said before, hookah is not their primary business. It's like an expanded Hot Topic with NHT things, and because of the NHT things that's why I'm not saying their name on here. I have never owned a MYA so I cant say for certain but I believe the hose port is bigger than that of a QT. Like others have said, I'd just get your money back and get a QT/Bambino/Crystal Blue/etc. online. I'm sure if you go with one of those you won't be disappointed. The base was so small, like if i filled it up with as much water as i should there would barely be enough room for smoke for a one hose, let alone a two. So I just got my money back. I just ordered online. I got a QT, phunnel bowl, QT hose adaptor, and a AF 30 count box of coals. I got all of this for $57.18 and that includes tax and shipping. I'd still have my QT, but I had to trade it to be able to afford my KM. I plan on getting another small Mya (probably a Petite) sometime soon. Congrats on your order! That way you know what your getting and you know that you will be happy in the end. And by cheap brand, i don't mean always cheap by money standards, just cheaply made.
