Are Phunnel Bowls Best To Smoke All Brands Of Shisha Out Of?

Hmm sounds EXACTLY like what a phunnel bowl does except the phunnel has an easier draw do to one large hole verses 4 small holes, also with a vortex the holes can be hit or miss on there location. Ive see some up high and some so low they do nothing to hold the juice in. There is NOWAY they hold more shisha then a med or large phunnel. When you get 9-10 hours out of a med phunnel smoking non stop there is also no way they smoke longer. Also there made by sahara smoke witch = fail in my book.

Yeah I'm getting a vortex. I really hope the holes are up high, I've seen it on videos where it can be a hit or miss with the holes. They didn't have any white phunnels left *pout*.

vortex isnt bad, use my friends from time to time. But from when I had my phunnel I believe I liked it more than the vortex. Its not a bad bowl tho

Dude I do not need a medium phunnel, Waaaay too big, even with the tealight mod. Also, the order has already gone through.
Anyways I be broke now, if the next paycheck is big and I have money left over I am going to buy an alien.

The phunnel takes too much shisha and the flavour after like an hour in of heavy smoking just isn't crisp and fresh enough for our liking.

I rarely use my phunnel unless I want to smoke for a very long time (during a couple of movies), and when I use it, I get great smoke sessions! I normally usually use my small egyptian, large mod, standard mya, or my glass bowl. I use the glass one less often than the others though. I'll be getting an Alien soon, and that will probably replace my small tangiers phunnel, or if the smoke is right, it might replace the majority of my bowls. Edited April 7, 2010 by thatonethere

Quick little funny story about the phunnel, doesn't warent it's own thread at all, but I figured since we were talking about them here I would just post it.

So last night I was smoking with some friends who haven't been around for a few months and remember smoking with me with my mod bowl on a dif hookah. I go inside and come back out to see coals placed on the middle of the phunnel. I looked at them weird and they go, "Well it was almost done so we thought we would just burn it up so we put them in the middle." You know because on an egyptian or a mod, you can place them in the middle and get it really hot. I thought this was funny because placing it like that in the phunnel does nothing of the sort, at least to my knowledge.

Just another good thing about the phunnel, even heat distribution is easier. At least to me it is.

Oh by the way, ive smoked out of a vortex, and own several phunnels and I like the phunnels wayyyyyy better. Just listen to everyone and don't get a vortex, go with what everyone knows works best.
