thatonethere
Does anybody have any idea why Lucid is more expensive than OG Tangiers? I know that Lucid has less nicotine than OG, but with that logic, I'd think Lucid would be cheaper. Any thoughts?

mitchard
Its a scam. They take away the buzz and increase the price. Definitely not a fair trade!
On the other hand, don't want it? don't buy it! not your bowl of shisha? fine. it is what it is advertised, at the price advertised, for easily understandable reasons, not a scam. I realize you were probably joking, but I felt it still needed some kind of answer. Feel free to call me a Tangiers fanboy I guess i need to post more to be able to edit posts . mods, please delete my previous message. thanks

We heard quite a few complaints and frustrations about the extra (and difficult) effort it was to make Lucid to his standards. But when he got it right, he got it riiiiiight. hookah hippie
I have been smoking tangiers for quite some time. I think I might order some lucid just for fun. I only smoke noir just kind of feel like it
Stuie
I don't get a buzz any more so i don't care about it. I think lucid handles coconaras better but that's about eh only major difference to me excluding the nicotine.
really? that's probably one of the dumbest things i have heard. as was pointed out already - washing the tobacco is a huge pain in the ass. its like asking the chef to go slaughter the cow fresh before you get your steak. 1 extra step jumps the price up. on top of that - the lucid users are ordering it because they want less nicotine. If they are willing to pay for that I really don't see how it's a scam. Eric has told us many times how much trouble it was to create this line. I would love to see you do the same for cheaper. Sonthert
The tobacco comes with nicotine in it. Removing it takes more effort, so it costs more. I know its a crummy trade, but the price difference in adding nicotine (not to mention that raised eyebrows from the USFDA) to a non-nicotinated product would be much higher than washing nicotine from a nicotinated product. The nicotine needed to add to the un-nicotinated product would likely be acquired in the same way we remove it, so it would be more expensive because there would be two processing steps, one on our end and one from the manufacturer of nicotine. This is the cheapest method, in my opinion, for all parties concerned.
