Venger
So this is my second bowl of chocomint and and I am really on the fence with this flavor. The chocolate feels funny in the mouth and the mint seems to overpower the chocolate. So here is my question: CHOCOMINT love it or hate it? Chaz1337
I am assuming Nakhla... Loooooove ittttt!
ryno
Nakhla? Love it! The mint is strong, but thats just the way Nakhla Mint is. Try using warmer water to dull out the mint in it.
mushrat
if it's Nakhla and the mint starts to overpower the chocolate you are making it too hot.
Venger
You are correct to assume Nakhla. I will try the warmer water next time. I don't think its heat I am only using one QL broken into three pieces. The longer I smoke it the stronger the chocolate gets but the mint is freezing my mouth and lungs which is weird because I smoke menthol cigs. Thanks for the advice. I want to love it but I am only in like with it now. Ray
Chreees
It's probably tied for my favorite Nak flavor, alongside Mizo Peach! And yeah, what Mush said... the mint will be too powerful if you apply too much heat. Also, I've found that acclimating it a bit before you smoke it helps tone down the mint. twoapplesplease
Hate it....Only mizo mint is worse Try mixing nakhla classic mint with Zaghoul or khan el khalili or AF softblack for a much better Chocomint like flavor......Nak classic mint is much more natural mint flavor
Arcane
chocomint is full of win...
wayfarinstranger
Coincidentally I'm smoking some right now, mixed with AF Orange. I've smoked it once by itself and it was a little too potent for my taste. It was good, just really strong. Cutting it with Orange mellows out the flavor and makes it much more enjoyable. Jeff_T
Definitely love it, although I do agree that it has more of a mint than chocolate taste to it, but it's still a great smoke. +1 to what Mush said too, try a little less heat

[/quote] Mush is dead on. There is a happy heat medium with Nakhla Choco mint. I pack it tight and to the rim, but i treat it almost like Tangiers. Instead of the standard 2 CH Naturals on either side of my small phunnel - i break it and use 3 1/2s and ive found that the mint is alot more subdued and ya get some chocolate. But keep in mind, mint is ALWAYS gonna be the most dominate flavor.
