Quick Cleaning Question

can i clean my mya qt with CLR, i wanted to let it soak for a few mins in the clr but not sure if its safe for the hookah.

I wouldn't use it, you can use lime juice and baking soda to clean it.

once...long ago...when i was new to the hookah life style...i tried to clean a hookah with CLR.....it got clean...i smoked it....and ended up feeling like....[img]http://www.hookahforum.com/public/style_emoticons/default/bad.gif[/img]

clr I think is a little harsh....try vodka/lime juice/bkf/vinegar...Im not sure about vodka Ive tried absolut citron...but only 1x Id rather drink it than waste it...

if you have a brewery store near by pick up some PBW

Vinegar is safe for glass and plastic. For the metallic components, a hot soak and wash with PBW works wonders.

I'm speaking from my experience as a home brewer. I'm still a newb to hookah. But cleaning is still cleaning.
