Noob Question

What's up guys?

I just got a glass mod from Mn Hookah for the small/medium Tangiers bowl.

I have a really stupid question........ how exactly do I use it?

Yesterday I packed my bowl with SB Pumpkin Pie and placed the mod on top with the center hole ridges facing down. I lit two 3Ks and placed them on top when they were ready.

Nothing.

I was just pulling air directly into the base through the large hole in the center of the mod.

Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.



BTW, I wound up swapping the mod for foil and had an amazing session. I finally broke the 90 minute mark (not that I'm counting). I used to only be able to go for 30 minutes before tapping out. I forgot to mention that I was using my small Tang bowl.

put the mod in before you pack the bowl

I can't do that. This is like a glass screen. It goes over the top of the bowl.

It is not a mod. It's a glass screen.

those are meant to be used with the mnh jet phunnel, ive never seen someone try and use it with a regular phunnel before

It says that for this glass screen you have to specify whether or not you want it for a tangiers phunnel. Maybe you clicked on ordering this screen by accident?

No, I purchased the correct one.

However, I didn't tell them that it was for a Tangiers phunnel.

i've actually seen those work quite well with an egyptian...

if you want to get use out of it, break out the egpytian!!
