they may never meet, if they are both going north, they will never meet. Heck, it would probably be pretty hard for them to meet.

but, given that they do meet, they would be the same distance from paris since...well, they are in the same spot when they meet

Here's a few riddles I love.

-----------

I live above a star, and yet I do not burn
I have eleven neighbors, and yet none of them turn
I am visited in sequence, first or last or in between
PQRS are my initials, now tell me what I mean

-----------

What can go up a chimmney down, but not down a chimmney up?

-----------

A mother gave birth to twin boys, but they were born in different years and on different days. And no, the boys are not part of 2 sets. How can this be possible?

1. 7 on an older type phone
2. What's a "chimmney up"? If the up isn't supposed to be there, then "Smoke?"
3. They were born on during the changing of the new year.

Good job on one and three. Two, however, is phrased exactly how it should be. what can go up a chimmney (while it's) down, but not down a chimmney (while it's) up? The answer? An Umbrella. Unless you pulled really hard on the down while up part... Which defeats the purpose.
