Smoked out of my friends trimetal and its seems the same to me but i love the look of the trimetal better but i wouldent trade my KM sig ice for nothing . Even tho im shure the ice chamber dose little i like to think it dose .

well, you said best bang for your buck, so i went with pear. however, imo, the amer is the most 'value' priced KM. it has the essential signature km design and is priced VERY reasonably for what it is. the next one up in price would be the pear, which i have, use, and love.
