Visiting Fort Lauderdale

My mate is visiting Fort Lauderdale next week for a conference and he wanted to know if there are any shisha cafes nearby that he can visit.

We're big fans of starbuzz and its a hassle to get in the UK so we were wondering what the best way was to get hold of some. Can it be bought off the shelf or will we have to order it to the hotel?

He's staying at the Hyatt Pier 66. Any help would be good.

It says there are 2 in Fort Lauderdale. I'd probably call ahead and see what brands and flavors they have.

Yes, call ahead ftw. If they serve Hookah-Hookah or something similar, I'd probably avoid 'em... I doubt you'll even get them to tell you what brand they serve. I've asked at many lounges here in TN and they wouldn't say. Don't know if they're as shady down in FL, though.

if he is down for a little bit of a drive i know a little shop in tampa that he can get just about any brand except tangiers sadly up by the university of south florida

True see if there are any colleges/universities by there. Those places always tend to have hookah bars or smoke shops. And don't forget smoke shops & head shops they sometimes sell shisha. Edited April 29, 2010 by bellydancerakn

Thanks for the advice. He's already there but because its a conference he doesn't have that much time to go out. Going to get hookah-shisha to deliver to his hotel, seems the easiest option.
