Really Considering Purchasing This

That base looks a lot like the one Mush posted on.

It's an indian or pakistani hookah, probably used for tombiek.

Not worth a whole lot, and not really that great for smoking IMHO. I have one, not very good draw on it, and the bowl won't work for normal shisha.

If you want it for decoration or for the novelty, go for it. If you want it for a daily use hookah, I'd tell you to pass.

It would look great polished up. Sit it next to the armoire or the sofa. Great conversation piece. If he'll take like $30 go for it.

I think it boils down to what you plan to do with it. If you're looking to supplement your functional hookah collection, this might not be the one. However, if you're looking for a unique decoration for your smoking room, you're set.

I bought something similiar here (Iraq). It stands almost up to my chin and has beautiful hand etched decorations. I purchased it for my home as a decoration and have no plans to try to modfiy it as a functioning hookah.

Depends how much they want. It would be a really cool decoration. I have a Harem as a decoration and people are always amazed when they see it.
