Need Help Finding A Hookah

Hi, I'm pretty new at hookah's and I'm looking to buy my own hookah. I really only do it socially and use it mainly with my friends. So I want at least a two hose hookah, but also don't want to spend too much. I have been doing a lot of research and found a few websites. The few I have seen are

and several others, but don't know which one I should use. Which one do you think is the best and has the best deals? I only really want to spend up to $120 which is my max. I kinda also want to get one with a case so it would be easy to transport around. People told me to look at the kahil mamoon or the mya's, but I don't really know enough to know if it is good or not. Can someone recommend a specific one that is easy to clean and keep while gives you good smoke and everything. Thanks

well, ANY of the KM's will be fine really. not too sure about mya's. but from what i hear, they all smoke really well. is your max price including coals/shisha and all? you can find some pretty decent package deals online

I guess not including shisha/coal? I found some KM's, but they were mainly single hoses, other good prices were company's that didn't seem popular

My friend has a multi hose, but even when we get together with a few people we almost always use my single hose. Remember only one person can inhale at a time. But if you are set on a multi for sure go mya. The QT is good and can be expanded to a two hose. It is on the cheaper side but a solid pipe allowing more money for extras. I dont have experience with one but you could spend a hundred dollars at hookah-shisha and get the free mini mya. If neither of those sound good, just get a mya in your price range that you like how it looks.

If you like the look of the acrylic then just go with the freebie hookah and buy a new hose bowl and some coals along with a lot of shisha. The pink bohemian looks rather nice, its a mya so it will smoke well and its got a solid vase on it. I would suggest a mya over the magdy zidan hookah because of the autoseal.

Their customer service has been really friendly and approachable to me so far and have answered all of my questions. I should be receiving my Gyro Mya this Friday. Yay!

I've been thinking and I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna get the pink bohemian one. So it is a mya? What kind of charcoal or fusion shisha do you recommend? Also, do you think there are any other accessories I should get?

Also, get a windcover if you plan to smoke outside a lot. And probably a port plug if you are getting a 2 hose.
A really good shisha for beginers is Al Fakher.

If you want a hookah with a case, most Mya's will come with something to carry it. And they ca be made into a two hose witha simple hose adapter that is 8 bucks. I'd say go with a medium sized mya, like a Mya Diva.

How can only one person inhale at a time? On my Mya with a phunnel, 2 people can go at once and still get big clouds, we haven't tried it with 3.

Everything else is, so true. the QT is a good, solid pipe. What I'd do is get the QT, auto-seal valves, a decent hose, and some shisha/coals. That will put you over the hundred you need, and you get another free acrylic hookah that you can bring places.... think of it as a beater. My friend bought one and it's pretty much bulletproof.

The mya diva looks pretty cool, but the dream pink bohemian looks pretty good, which one do you think is better for a first time buyer?

Hookah company doesnt look like they have auto seal adapters, so i would wait until you make another order and get them from hookah-shisha.

Instant=instant light, but tons of ashing and a shorter burn time.
Natural=it takes about 6 minutes to light up on a stovetop burner, BUT i lasts around 45 minutes and has very little ash.
So pretty much natural FTW!

But from what I hear bohemians are amazing and I'm actuall thinking of saving up some dough and getting the cloissene version, which is pretty much the same thing but a fancier stem. The nice thing about a QT is that if you travel a lot or just smoke at friend's houses then a QT is so easy to transport and damn durable. Since the bohemian is a mya it is probably pretty damn durable also, and if you smoke at home its no big deal.

Thanks a lot! that did help a lot. I actually don't have to get the valve/hose adapter since the hookah comes in a version that is two hoses. It comes with a funnel bowl so I don't think I need the extra ones. For the wind covers, are they actually necessary? I've never seen anyone use one before.

Also, what flavor shisha do you recommend? I'm probably gonna get a good stash so I don't have to order for a while.

Starbuzz is pretty good. I also like Social Smoke, same thing as SB basically but better. Nakhla is very good and very cheap. And tangiers is a favorite around here, but if you are pretty new to hookah (like less than a year) get the lucid line. The OG line is not washed and has a kick you to the curb strong buzz. Also, you have to acclimate it which can be pretty tricky from what I've heard. Lucid is washed and needs little to no acclimation, also the buzz won't kill you lol.
Just read the reviews section for various brands. Also, use the search function to find a review of a particular flavor and use quote marks when searching like "Starbuzz X on the Beach" and tons of reviews will come up.

Yes that type of of coal is awesome!!! They were the ones I was talking about earlier. And I already explain the differance between naturals and Quicklites.

I'd say go for a qt if u want a portable with a case.
If u want a big hookah go for a km, I've got both and use both depending on where I wanna smoke


Get the extras like a nammor or razan and also a tangiers small phunnel. I here the mini alien smokes

I would also say the bowl and hose are really important to get the best hookah experience.

The easiest shisha to use I've found for a new smoker is is al fakher and starbuzz. As you get to know shisha better
U may want to try nakhla, specially the mizo line. I find nakhla has better natural taste to the smokes.

I've never tried tangiers but from what I here its probs one of the best shisha. I'm gonna order some tangiers lucid on my next order

Ditto on the start out with Al-Fakher. It's among the most forgiving, produces huge white puffy clouds which are fun, and often has very strong flavors.

Although I smoke it a lot, now, it took me a while to appreciate Nakhla, and as people have said I would not recommend Tangiers until you know what you're doing. AF is also cheaper than Tangiers, Starbuzz, etc (the latter of which I think is too expensive but I'm sure others will disagree). Nakhla, however, is crazy cheap...
