Ive decided to start a thread of reviews instead of making a new one each time i write a new one.standard setup is a 22" egyptian from socialsmoke with a standard clay bowl and a cobra hose, aluminum foil, 33mm 3kings coal, and ice water in the base. Ill specify if i do something differently.my scoring system is as follows.what scores mean.0-3= wanna trade? no? ok you can have it then4-5= acceptable if barely. def trade it or give to a friend.6-7= ill smoke it when the good stuff runs out8-9= if you like the flavor then definately try it9-10= havent you ordered yet?

Tangiers Juicy Peach:Cut/Appearance: standard tangiers big fluffy leaves of tobacco with plenty of thick juice in the bottom of the container, which i of course mixed up and acclimated for 4 hours before smoking. this stuff is black, so black that when youve finished smoking you have no idea if unsmoked shisha is still left at the bottom.Smell of unsmoked shisha: its what i would imagine a burnt peach would smell like. strong peach scents with a juicy hint as well as a dark toasted cavendish smell. smells like a tobacco product, which many brands do not. to be honest not at all what i expected, but very pleasant nonetheless.smoke: by moving the coal slowly around the edges of the bowl, i produced thick clouds of creamy white smoke. very flavorful smoke, though if not managed tends to get harsh quickly. use alot less coal than you usually do. sometimes ill break a 33mm in half and put one half on each side of the bowl. yields good results.flavor: there is no doubt why it is named juicy peach. luscious ripe peach flavors are well complemented by the dark caramel flavor that is produced by the molasses. there is no doubt that tobacco flavors are present, like a good pipe tobacco flavor at the back of the tongue but with the peach wrapping like silk around the front of the mouth. man this is good stuff. If you are looking for a candy sweet peach or dont like the flavor of tobacco itself look elsewhere. this is a peach for grownups. mmm.session length: man it wont stop. ive smoked this bowl for a good hour and a quarter and the flavor keeps coming like its a fresh bowl. you get alot of smoke time for your money. at an hour and a half it tasted burnt through but still tasty, i stopped nevertheless.Buzz: nakhlaesque buzz, strong and relaxing. like a swedish massage for the souloverall: this isnt a begginner tobacco but its delicious, smokes great, and is completely unique. a note about tangiers. heat management is key and this stuff is finicky. if you want a low maintenance smoke get another brand. but if youre willing to baby it you will get one of the best overall smokes possible. i will definately order much more from him.Score: 9 out of 10 The peach could have been a little stronger and the buzz can get intense if you have too much smoke.

Tangiers Apricot:Cut/Appearance: standard tangiers cut. very fluffy and juicy. even darker than juicy peach. like a cancerous black hole you cannot escape but dont particularly want to.Smell of unsmoked shisha: very subtle smell not nearly as strong as the juicy peach was. smells like roasted apricots with just the barest hint of a floral scent mingling with the same black cavendish sort of odor. very pleasant indeed. makes my mouth water.Smoke: man he has tobacco making down to an art. beautiful puffy clouds and so silky on the tongue. very easy to smoke so long as you have it going right. again a bit finicky with heat management but having smoked around 5 bowls of tangiers by now im getting the hang of it.flavor: not your average apricot. its dark and mysterious like a midnight walk through a roasted field of apricots with a good handful of smoky black cavendish pipe tobacco hitting the palate for a creamy aftertaste. I smoked this back to back with havana apricot (my now co-favorite apricot, former favorite before this one.) If you are looking for an uncommon approach to apricot that nevertheless captures all you love about apricot and adds in that je ne sais quoi that makes tangiers unique, then this should be in your next order. man it makes my mouth water just thinking about it, and smoking it is like... anyways we'll talk about that when youre older.Session length: damn i smoked this for an hour and a half and the flavor never quit or even changed. very very well made indeed.Buzz: buzz isnt the right word because i didnt really get one. however i did get that full body relaxation that makes the world feel more peaceful and makes the session truly enjoyable. wonderful stuff.overall: i consider myself a connoiseur of apricot tobacco. Its my favorite flavor and the flavor i judge brands by. If they cant produce a decent apricot then im unlikely to order from them. coming into these sessions i was positive my favorite apricot was havana's but as i mentioned earlier, this is my new co-favorite. I wouldnt say its better than havana's but rather a completely different approach to it. Its as if both companies envisioned a near perfect apricot flavor and took two opposite roads to get there. If youre looking for straight apricot get havana, if you want something different but still with that wonderful apricot flavor get this.Score: 9.5 out of 10 couldnt have gotten much better but perhaps a tad more of that tangy apricot flavor would have pushed it up into perfection. but if you like apricot you need this.

Apricot HavanaCut/Appearance: nice consistency with plenty of wetness though no juice running around. just how i like it really. typical havana cut with medium sized pieces of red dyed tobacco with the occasional small stem. Smell of unsmoked shisha: Smells very good, like dried apricots with a bit of a sour note to itSmoke:  good volume of thick white smoke with a pleasant apricot smell.flavor: the best apricot ive had so far. very sweet with a very strong tangy apricot taste. tastes almost exactly like when you get a dried apricot that's a little tart still. delicious. compared to nakhla, al amir, and al waha this is miles above the competition. But at times when the smoke gets a bit too thick it takes on a slight (and we're talking very slight) chemical taste.Buzz: a medium buzz comparable to a weak batch of nakhla or a typical al waha strength buzz. nice and mellow.Overall: what can i say. i adore apricot and this tastes as close to a fresh apricot as any shisha ive tried. For 12 bucks(from ss) this is a great deal on some delicious shisha. I have yet to try tangiers, fumari, starbuzz(probably wont too much money), and romman(same reason as starbuzz), but i cant see them being that much better. But i would love to be wrong.Score: i would give this a 9 out of 10 because of the slight chemical taste and the red dyed appearance. I would prefer not having the dye though im sure its safe enough. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who likes apricot, and in my opinion we all should. ive been smoking it for a good half hour and the flavor is still going strong and no harshness, though i did have to decrease to 1 coal because the smoke was getting too thick for my taste.

Special Apple HavanaCut/Appearance: typical Havana, same as above. BUT i did find 2 big stems of about 2 inch length in the pot. smells like a double apple with less anise. (i guess thats whats special about it)Smoke: thick and white, but not as flavorful as i had hoped for. smelled like double appleflavor: tastes like it smells with plenty of apple flavor and enough anise for me (double apple has too much in my opinion) very pleasant but not as strong as i would expect following the apricot which just explodes in your mouth.Buzz: medium buzz though when the smoke gets thick it cranks up and can give you a headache.Overall: good but a bit of a disappointment. I guess i was looking for a super strong apple flavor with half the anise of a double apple. instead i got a double apple minus half the anise. good but not extraordinary. the smoke also lacked the havana juiciness i love. I shall definately be trying more to see whether or not it was just my bad luck during the smoking session or whether it is in fact the shisha itself. Score: i would give this an 8 out of 10. certainly worth trying but I wouldnt pay more than the 12 bucks it cost for it. perhaps a bit overpriced on this flavor.

Al Waha ColaCut/Appearance: a typical al waha cut with centimeter long pieces of tobacco in a very moist syrup. none too juicy but certainly not dry, nicely moist. a lightish brown color with few stems and none of unnacceptable size. very appealing.Smell of Unsmoked Shisha: this was intense. smelled like youre stuck in a room made of those gummi cola bottle candies. i left this open for about an hour and when i came back to my room it smelled like a coke. very very very inviting. makes my mouth water.Smoke: thick smoke though it needed 2 33m 3kings to get it going at full steam not harsh at all. very fragrant. no one in the room would have any doubt what flavor you  were smokingFlavor: well this doesnt taste like coke as such, but rather like those little gummi cola bottles, which are really really good. The flavor is strong and to the front of the mouth with plenty of sweetness and a nice tang that almost gives a fizzy feel to it. very good taste but theres a negative side here, the aftertaste. The aftertaste on the exhale is not quite right, theres an almost instantaneous loss of the cola flavor and a sort of dry woodyness that isnt entirely pleasant.Overall: As a cola soda lover i found this to be a very pleasant smoke. lots of flavor, good smoke density, easy to smoke, and cheap as hell. 5.95 for a 250g at socialsmoke. woot. but this is also the first cola shisha ive tried. The aftertaste and the tasting more like candy than soda i have to count against it.Score: well if the first blast of flavor were maintained through the exhale i would give it a 9 but as it is with the nasty sort of exhale i must give this an 8. good but lots of room for improvement. im gonna need to try a bunch more colas.
