Halo Reach

I don't really like the gameplay.
I feel that too much has changed.
There's what... scout, defender, stalker, and i don't know the name of the jetpack one, but I think it's really stupid.
I run around places, and then some jetpack fag grenades me from up top and finishes me, so I always run around looking up occasionally.
Also, for some games, elites have that dodge roll ability... which i think is pretty neat but should only limit it to 1 dodge roll instead of two.
I see elites with swords who 15 feet away do 2 dodge rolls and then cut my ass up. It's pretty hard to shoot them when they roll.
What else...
Well since it is just the beta, the graphics don't really appeal to me whatsoever, yet.
That's all on my mind right now. The game is alright.
I still enjoy playing Halo 3 more, but I feel like that'll change once the retail version comes out.
I doubt it though.

I checked it out and thought the concept of the armor power ups were cool. But they need to work on how long you can use them and so on. Such as when playing the one where you have to hold the skull for so long you can't use anything except the skull. That was kinda lame to me. My friends and I were pretty geared up to play this and I believe so far we have only been on the beta for the first day and then was like ahhh it's ok but not as huge as we thought. The assassination are really cool I'll give them that one.

EPIC!
I love Halo and Reach has made it ever more bad ass. Yeah, its different and they changed a lot, and to be honest I didn't like it when I first tried the beta, but when I got used to it and started kicking ass I really liked it. It's fun and more challenging. I cannot wait till the full game comes out. The beta's graphics looked good for a beta, and I noticed some glitches while playing, BUT ITS A BETA. People don't seem to understand what beta means. Of course it's not going to be a polished full multiplayer experience, they're not done.

All in all I love it and can't wait for more. A lot of people don't like it though, since its changed so much, but the new weapons and abilities change the gaming experience and make it more strategic. In my opinion its whats Halo should have been in the beginning.

Not to be a dick, but it sounds like you don't know how to play it yet. The elites are terribly unbalanced and a shotgun will take a sword any day. Nothing is more frustrating than being stuck as an elite and rolling into a shotgun blast. Watch your radar and use guard more if you're having problems with people coming at you from above. As soon as you hear a grenade, go down in guard. If you can pick up a needler then the flying ability is basically worthless.

to add to this since i made the topic

i've gotta say i love it. the gameplay is smooth and after you learn how to effectively use the power-ups it makes it more strategic.

it seems to run smoother and faster than 3 did and the matchmaking is nice, being able to vote on what map to play.

i really like the 3 maps that are out there and invasion is really bad ass, tho i don't really like some of the grab bag games.

i was a little disappointed at first not being able to duel wield but now i'm fine with it and i'm a fan of the guns that you get.

the different classes, like during invasion, are pretty sweet to, as well as choosing your spawn point.
