I was wondering myself where the hookahforum wiki was since the new layout started so I found it and here's the link

Not as comprehensive as the one I remember but it has most of the info.

There's a few things I don't like about that...
It promotes the "Shiny Side Up" technique and the whole "No Foil Touching The Shisha"


But, since I haven't gotten Tangier to smoke well, I guess I have nothing to say!! hha

Yeah, I always do foil shiny-side down because that's what someone told me when I first signed up here. As for foil not touching the shisha, I use Eric's method where I do the foil test. Pack the bowl, then press down with your palm until there's an even, slight depression. Then pull the foil back tight. I do find the Tangiers part of the Wiki pretty helpful for new people starting out with Tangy.

Ha, I probably would do the foil shiny side down but I'm honestly too lazy to figure out which side is shiny...

I agree with you that it is very helpful.
I should try it... Maybe I'll have better luck

it was the original one we started before the official one, so not perfect but better than nothing.

If I remember properly it was started by a member and approved by the mods. I think this is actually what spurned Adrock to make a wiki on the forum here in the first place.
