Mizo Pickle?

I went to a new shop the other day and picked up a 250g box of mizo mint. When I opened it, it smelled like the shisha was drenched in pickle juice or something. I let my friend sniff it, and he agreed it smelled exactly like pickles. It smokes pretty well, and the package that it came in was fine. Did I get a bad batch or what?

if it tastes like mizo mint and smokes fine, i'd say the batch is fine. Edited May 15, 2010 by Arcane

id say its fine too. im not big on mint. i read the title thinking something completely different. haha. an acutal pickle flavour....hmmm, not so much. and pickles are awesome, just not as shisha.

Well I guess my question was does mizo mint have a sort of vinegary taste to it? I definetely feel the mint, but the actual flavor is somewhat vinegary. This is the first time I've gotten this brand and found it odd that I smelled pickles.

I'd say either you pallete is kinda weird, or you have a bad batch. It shouldn't taste like vinegar at all. If anything it should taste a little more spearmint than straight mint.

Bad batch, I've had the same thing happen with mizo grape.

That's bizarre, but if it tastes right, it seems to me that it's fine.

I would say its a bad batch. I have never had mint that smells like Pickles and tastes like vinegar haha and I thought the same thing when I saw the title that it was literally a Pickle flavored shisha which would be strange.
