bellydancerakn
Hey guys so I'm trying to put together an order from Hookah Set of a bunch of different shishas I want to try. nakhla two apples tobacco nakhla tobacco apple Eskandarany Mizo cherry Tobacco Mizo White Grapes Tobacco Mizo Peach Tobacco Mizo Guava Tobacco Mizo Mint Tobacco NAKHLA Rose Tobacco Starbuzz Blue Mist Tobacco Starbuzz Irish Cream Tobacco The thing is I want to have a traditional-type shisha also. So my choice is between Zaghoul and Bata. Now I know they are both unflavored but what is the difference between the two? And yes I've check reviews and I've already tried Nakhla's website and it didn't say anything. Thanks for the help!!! EDIT: There is also Kass Super as an unflavored. Would this be good too? Hassouni
Zaghloul is a proper name and Bata (really Batta) means duck in Arabic. Otherwise, can't help!
twoapplesplease
zaghoul is hard to describe as a flavor mostly a strong tobacco flavor with some earthy notes and a lite molasses sweetness....Personally I prefere the unflavored khan el khalili its a much stronger flavor (also much stonger then zag) and is more complex with woodsy and nut and spice notes and a bit earthy, less noticiable molasses sweetness eather way do smoke them with foil and pack dense and use extra heat...Also for the first times you try it I recomend mixing it with other flavored nakhlas...Cherry,Rose,mint and two apples are great to mix with zaghoul from your list, also recomended mixer flavors are jassamine, vannilia, caramel, sweet molasses. also personally I like to mix zaghoul or khan with AF soft black for a strait tobacco flavor ,the AF soft black has alot more molasses on it and mixing it with the less "juicy" zag or khan is amazing the flavor complexity is great ,and the AF soft black smooths out the ass kicker affect of the stronger zag and khan and it gives the AF soft black the extra kick it needs....Ohh ..the AF soft black has a mostly molasses flavor to it with some nice tobacco flavors but it is much sweeter then the other 2 Hope that helps And personaly I think the zaghoul is the place to start on black tobaccos...You dont have to buy a whole kilo like with the soft black and its not so "in your face" as khan is......Can't wait to hear about your run with it
Hassouni
foil may work, but Zaghloul and all the other unflavored tobaccos are meant to be piled high and smoked without foil. Doing that with zaghloul is like hitting a cigar, though not really as nice

I always thought it was supposed to be without foil, but whats the harm?
twoapplesplease
foil helps distribute and heat the tobacco up better I think....and it smokes smoother too imo... Hassouni
To my knowledge, ducks aren't even commonly eaten in the Arab world, unlike pigeons, sparrows, and various other birds. In Iran, however.....

Maybe Bata is stronger than Zaghoul and the Arabs, being manly men with no women present to civilize them, of course turned it into a sexual joke that they were smoking a woman with a big ass. And then Zaghoul is all about smoking a younger barely-legal girl? It's a bunch of men in a group, odds are it is sexual.
