Blakefox
I finally got pretty much the things I wanted from a hookah, thanks to a job at the bookastore. I got my KM OG Tri-metal, XL windcover and tray, Co-co naras and romman lemonwoods, tangier passion-fruit, kiwi, and cocoa, fusion cappuchino, a nammor, and a km sig hose. But I've had some problems with some of it. I don't see the difference in naturals vs quick-light besides the obvious cost and time. The tangiers can taste alright (Kiwi was horrible), the smoke is pretty darn good, but not like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HW9rzD58NRo ceiling covering smoke. I haven't tried eric's method yet, I leave no holes in the middle. Also it seems like everyone uses quicks when they get their extreme smokes. Just a coincidence? As for the hose, It seems the km gives a better pull? I thought nammor was legendary for the pull? Also, I cant seem to fit a grommet on the km hose if I want to put it in my hookah. It just falls out. Seems to work fine with no rubber piece. Any recommendation for flavors btw last time. Didn't get into nakhla too much, and I like al fakher and tangiers passion-fruit, it taste like fruity pebbles sorta! Some help please?
mushrat
I agree..kiwi tasted like Green Peppers to me. Many times people with huge room filling clouds are simple burning the shit out of their tobacco with poor heat control. Naturals don't have all sorts of nasty chemicals in them to make the start with a flick o the bic like quick lites. If you haven't tried the method reccomended by the guy who makes the stuff, why are you asking for help on the tangiers? Try a thin layer of wet paper towel instead of a grommet on the hose. K-peach is still my all time favorite Tangiers flavour.

Blakefox
I tried it erics way, It was nicer. Smoother for the group. Still gotta get some better flavors though. Hookah-shisha is always out. I wanted to get orange soda, kashmir peach, watermelon, and blueberry. But theyre always out on the good ones. I got passion-fruit, kiwi, and cocoa last time. Passion-fruit's alright...Let them acclimate for 12 hours too. Kinda a waste of $30 on the other two. The hose seems to pull fine. Seems airtight, just thought it was odd that it fit pretty damn well with no grommet. Any reccomendation besides kashmir peach? The 3 I got had grat reviews here, but wasn't so satisfied with them. But not too much else, only carry 11 flavors. Though, I've always wanted to try horchata....Thanks for the help too.

It's a milky cinnamon flavor.
KeepItSimple
Peach Iced Tea, K-Peach like everyone said, Juicy Peach, and Blueberry are all great flavors from Tangiers. Good luck getting the Blueberry, Chris got the last two that I know of in existence.
Sonthert
Some people love Kiwi, some people hate Kiwi. Matter of taste. It sounds like you might be in need of Summer Solstice Celebration. Try some of that and see what it does for you.
thecoalition
in order to get thick clouds off tang it takes alot of heat mgmt. With my setup I can do it well with CoCoNaras and a medium tang phunnel bowl. I haven't used quicklights in about 4 or 5 years now because of the magnesium in them. Essentially I will pack my bowl relatively densely...typically by putting the shisha around it with a little push. I do my packs in layers. layer 1 fills it about halfway up. Layer 2 to the brim, then layer 3 just over the brim after giving everything a good push down. I believe the tang package states the density of your pack should be how the tang comes in the package. Heat my coals till they are glowing red and no black is seen (i do this on a standard oven coil burner set to high) Personally I let the coals get red - leave them on there for a min or 2 after all the black is gone then shut off the heat and give them 3 mins to cool to their natural burning temp. Place the first two coals on across from each other. Let sit for 20ish secs. Begin pulling to get my smoke rolling. After 8-12 mins I will add a 3rd coal and my positioning is set on a clock as 12, 4, and 7. I then rotate the coals around as needed throughout the session. Base liquid is cold tap water with ice cubes. This always does the trick for me, and if you are new to tang then it will take a few times before you really pack it well. Don't get frustrated just try again. p.s. blueberry is almost always out. its probably the best selling because its so spot on.
