Morphine7399
In two months I will be moving into my new apartment and have already set some ground rules like no smoking tobacco cigarettes inside, although I really don't mind any other kind of smoke. My question is, does smoking hookah indoors begin to leave an unpleasant after-smell over time like cigarettes? My apartment is only 2 bedrooms and a living room, so it's not that big of an area. Also if it makes a difference, I will be sampling a large variety of tobacco favors over time and probably plan on smoking it about 4 times a week. It's no big deal smoking outside as it is warm outside now and I have two balconies but when the cold VT winter months come along, it could get to be a pain. I would appreciate any input on the subject, thanks.
SanguineSolitude
crack a window and you'll be fine. yes it will smell like hookah but it never seems to be as strong or cloying as cigarette smoke. plus the actual smell is pretty pleasant.
DarthHookah
ive been smoking in my basement for a little over a year, and i have noticed that there is a lingering smell... not bad, though, it just smells like a hookah. you could always open a window, like sanguine said, or you could light a candle. of course, the candle would only be a quick fix. Glottis
I've yet to lose a deposit because of it after two houses rented, both with no smoking rules.
web250
If anything you'll get a slightly fruity/honey/molasses smell...basically the base smell of the hookah. And thats not bad compared to say, cigarettes
