Wandering Jew
I have a 35 inch Tesmah Aquarious. The rubber ring on my stem that sort of locks in with the base has a rip in it so it is no longer air tight. Now every time I smoke I have to put masking tape around the area where the stem and base meet to keep it airtight. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I don't want to have to get a new one since this is less than a month old
Chreees
I think all you can do is buy a new one...

srawas89
Use a damp paper towel to make it airtight, no need for a new grommet.
mushrat
tape works fine while you order a new gasket. http://www.hookahcompany.com/standard_rubber_vase_308_prd1.htm to be more exact.
Sahara Man
Grab some paper towels, put some water on it and wrap it around the bottom of the stem. We never had grommets back home, all we used was paper towels LOL

liquidglass
Two options I've done. 1) electrical tape (holds better than paper towels and is just as air tight or duct tape 2) using an type of caulk that would hold it together or even try melting somthing over it.
