I just got off the phone with a (VERY helpful) hookah-shisha.com representative asking about a KM hookah and he told me that they had been informed by KM that the factory in Egypt burned down. Maybe they were trying to keep it quiet. Would love it if we could get some light shed on the subject by another source. Not to doubt you, just that something like this deserves some confirmation from a few sources. I mean, what if for some reason KM became a collectors item that was no longer produced, or at least produced in less quantity. Doubt that would be the case, but it's trippy to think about. I considered my source a reputable one since a retailer, whose sales are probably a visible chunk of KM's profits, is telling me over the phone that their sales lead went to California to obtain more KM's since the KM contact in Egypt said his plant burned to the ground. And while I'd love to sit and read Arabic from a site that misspells the brand... not attacking you or anything. I'll just believe it when an actual vendor tells me otherwise and when I'm not seeing sold-out KM's on any vendor site being replaced with "in stock." Though, I guess that could mean other things as well. So I definitely respect everyone wanting a reputable source on here. I'll post something if I discover anything more reputable. And yes I have done business with HS and have had a great experience with them, but business is exactly that and you wanna sell your goods. Not all businesses take the straight road to do so though. NOW!! either way i believe their quality has been going down in the last 2 years while prices has been going up. its easy to find a good ejyptian hookah out there for $20 or less than a KM. no longer welcome Posted May 30, 2010 Share Posted May 30, 2010 af's aren't being produced and are all sold out in the us. you may be able to find some at afo or at some local shops. i heard that part of the km factory burnt but not all of it. I am asking people to find out for me in egypt, however, i think they are still producing atm. at least 2 containers to the us have shipped out of egypt as of a month ago. i'm still waiting for news back, but i think it'll be ok.
