Just a few Q’s before i consider it...

Hi,
a friend of mine recently recently purchased a hookah. anyways, he was using it on friday night, and it got me interested. He asked me if i wanted a try, but i thought i would do a bit of background research before i do.
i've found a lot of info i wanted on these forums. My main question is regarding health and stuff from this. but from what i can find, there is no hard, fair evidence on it, and it seems with every point of point regarding health, htere is an equally strong and opposite response so i'm going to save the forum war Despite that, there are still a few more questions i have that i can't seem to find any straight answers to, so ill pop them now.
1. What are the laws regarding it? i assume it's just the age restriction for smoking tobacco in your country right?
2. does smoking tobacco (or whatever the proper name for it is) actually induce a differenct state (e.g. alcohol - drunkness, weed and other drugs - stoned..ness?)
3. what are you're opinions and views on the nicotine and tobacco free things made for being smoked on a hookah? is it the same experience as using the tobacco ones?
4. In your personal opinion, what is it like smoing a hookah, what does it feel like? what do you feel you gain? etc.

  well, you did your homeowrk..so i'll give you MY answers.
1)its tobacco, it's governed by your local laws as such.
2)Nicotine is a drug, and it will effect your state of mind. You can build up a tolerance so it take more to get the same effect. Look up nicotine on the internet.
3) I'v enever seen anything really good said about soex or any of the other tobacco free Ma'asells.
4) it tastes good, its social, its relaxing.
