Sooo, my sister invited me to this one group on facebook called "10 Facts you don't know about hookah"
Well, I joined it because I wanted to see. This is what they are.

[b]5.[/b] There are over 250 different kinds of Hookah flavors, and that number continues to rise.

Anyone who actually thinks smoking tobacco could possibly not be bad for you is a fool.
The whole world knows tobacco is bad for your body.

Considering the average cigarette has what? 1.5-1.6 grams of tobacco?
My average bowl is somewhere from 15-30grams.. it's not really surprising to learn that its 70 times as much nicotine and so forth.

I however don't think it's as addicting as cigarettes.
I know a lot of people who got addicted and smoke at least a half pack a day.
They all started with one cigarette.
I've introduced a ton of people to hookah who think it's better (tastier, more social, ect) than cigarettes, but they don't smoke hookah unless I invite them over to..

It's a lot harder to carry hookah around like you can a pack of cigs in the pocket.

As for the herpes.... clean your damn hoses, and use mouth tips!

i was going to quit hookah, but since i'm part of the cool group...i think i'll make it a lifelong habit...

#7 is the only one in the list that looks actually true. It's misleading in the fact that it sounds like smoking hookah gives you herpes, rather than smoking after someone infected with herpes gives you herpes.

I need to find someone who smokes cigarettes regularly. Sit down and smoke for 30 minutes, each. We'll see who feels like shit after 30 minutes and who feels fine

Well the reason hookah isn't as bad as ciggs (although inhaling smoke is bad, always) but the fact that hookah does not actually incinerate the tobacco is the big PLUS for hookah. When you smoke ciggs or cigars, what happens? The tobacco is incinerated which means you're acutally inhaling vaporized tobacco leaves. Where as with hookah you're inhaling vaporized molasses etc.


as far as the impotence lol.
I've been smoking for over 3 years now and I'm sure I can get a list of references that can attest to this being false. just saying.
